There are problems that come with this:
A) you ignore those who call you gay, but some people actually physically threaten you the way they would an actual gay person. So you can't ignore them.
B) some girls won't date you because they think your gay through rumors, etc.
C) you don't do anything gay, or even feel you look or at it. You know your 100% straight for a fact, yet people still say your gay and treat you as so.
D) some guys you go to school or work with treat you as less than a man, & don't let you join in on guy conversations on girls etc.
E) gay guys keep hitting on you when you are trying to date females to find the right girl.
F) people say your homophobic when ever you mention you tire of getting hit on by guys when all you want is a nice girl for you.
G) you understand there's nothing wrong with being gay, you almost wish you were because it would be easier since everyone treats as such anyway. But it's irritating when you actually are straight.

What are your thoughts? And this is not about anyone in particular, but more of a question about something I realize happens in society that no one seems to disscuss.

Judging from the responses, it seems that the solution for people like this is to be very hadcore and tough. Someone trys to harm you, learn how to fight and beat them down to nothingness. No more walking around enjoying yourself, instead, look mean when walking around those who seem a threat, and quickly prepare or brace yourself for scuffles.
This world was not meant for the weak and fragile, it favors the strong in every way. And a man who seems gay even though he isn't and doesn't feel he's projection gayness, is one of the biggest marks for getting trouble. So then, you have to train yourself to be the toughest, the smartest, in order to survive the unfair world.

To those who physically threaten you....why not show them you're not what they think you are so they'll learn their lesson.I don't mean get physical...Get the gurl you've been desperately wanting for....the very sexxxxxyyy one or the campus crush if you're still studying.That way you'll really get the respect you've been dying for...

1. Unfortunately, many politicians don't feel it is necessary to have laws that cover hate crimes to protect homosexuals, as well as heterosexuals from hate crimes.
2. The people who commit these crimes are sociopathic homophobes with twisted stereotyped perceptions of what is homosexual. I.e. whether or not you are homosexual, if some dangerous homophobe perceives you as homosexual, you are in danger of physical harm.
3. There was a documentary a few years back about heterosexual men who had lost eyes from severe beatings, because they had been perceived as being homosexual.
4. Any politician who doesn't feel it is necessary to keep the public protected from hate crimes should not be re-elected. It is unfair to homosexuals, and puts the whole population at risk. Those were the same type of politicians that condoned segregation & the beatings & killings of Black Americans.
5. All I can say to you is be careful, but be true to yourself. Get out of Dodge and start over somewhere else where no one knows you.
6. As far as homosexual men asking you out, just say 'no' politely, and say you prefer women. The same way a woman would say 'no' to you if she did not want to date you. Always be polite. It goes a long way.

Forget about what others say. You be your own man!
Find a girl, any girl (tall, short, fat, ugly, etc.) and ask her out. if she says no, ask out another, and another until one says yes. It's easier than you think. fat chicks would be your first choice. chicks like to steal guys from other chicks. Like a job, it's easier to get one if you already have one. You would seem less needy.
Then, be all over that girl in public. If you can find two, more are gooder!

People who won't mean a bit in your life in a year or so , just tell them to back off . If someone were to hit you , have them arrested . Hang out in a different area , avoid creeps .

wow...this is like my best friend..people think he's gay...but he's not..i don't kno how he deals with it but he just say he's not gay...he dont care as long as he knows this...plus if people threaten him then they threaten everyone he knows...he has me, friend, and family...
