I met my Pastor's father who was healed by God when he was a young man. He hurt himself working at a rail yard and had such a severe hernia that the doctors told him that after surgery he probably wouldn't be able to have children. So he made his way over to a church where they had healing services and there was a woman who had the gift of healing up at the front.

This wasn't some phony baloney healing service where they had TV cameras and the person who was supposedly doing the healing was like the star of the show and wanted people to send him money. It was just a little church in a poor section of Philadelphia where the Spirit of God was at work and most of the people who didn't go to church had no clue as to what went on inside.

Anyhow, my Pastor's father came limping out of the bus that dropped him off (he was 19 years old at the time), and some of the brothers outside saw him and started to carry him into the church. But when the woman saw them coming in the doors she said "Put that man who says God has called him to be a Pastor down and let him demonstrate his faith by walking up here on his own!"

My Pastor's father limped painfully up to the front and the woman commanded "Satan loose this man in the name of Jesus!" and he sprang straight up and was fully cured and pain free!

Praise the Lord, Jehovah Rophe, the God who heals us!

yes, I knew a lady that I went to church with 13 years ago. The doctors said she had cancer in stage 2. She requested that the elders of the church lay hands on her and pray for healing if it be God's will. She returned to the doctors a week later and requested another test. They had to do two because they couldn't believe the first one came back negative the other one did too. God is still God, he heals when decides to, just like he always has. I think you just don't see too many people with the face to follow the Biblical instruction..

In 1991 I had a serious neck operation and was put in a brace before I woke up. Six weeks later I was healed by the grace of God and took off the brace I was suppose to wear for several more weeks. I went to the surgeons office and the X-rays showed him and myself it was completely healed.

yes. I healed my mother of carpletunnel. She used to have to wear these braces on her wrists. One day she just started crying cuz they hurt so bad. I came over to her hugged her then took her wrists in my hands and started praying to God to help her and take away the pain even if I get it down the road. 2 weeks later she called me up and said that it was gone. God is awesome!

No, I don't. I know that my aunt, who was a devout Christian who loved the lord and faithfully followed his commandments to the best of her abilities died in agony of breast and bone cancer before she turned 30, leaving behind a 4 year old and 5 year old who had to grow up without a mother. This despite the prayers of hundreds, possibly thousands of people. Does that count?

Because someone gets better, and it can't be explained by medical science, does not make it an act of god. It just proves there is one more thing medicine needs to learn about the human body.

Considering the number of people who have been scientifically proven to get better due to medicine and technology, your god is a rather poor physician.

Well, I don't know. I had an open heart surgery when I was 18 months old, and most people have died from it. I'm 24 now and I'm still here. I think we are always touched by God, we just have to know it and embrace it.

My mom was healed from this illness she had. Also, she prayed that she would somehow fight the addiction to ciggerettes...she has not smoked a ciggerette in like 8-10 years.
