Disney Channel and MTV yes. Not that I watch the Disney Channel, but my little brother does. The problem with shows like that are they put these actual teens in these situations that are ridiculously stupid. The people are nothing like actual teens, the shows make the little kids that watch them think that when they are teens, they will be psychic or live in a hotel or something.

MTV is completely insane for never playing music videos. I don't even watch the crazy channel anymore. Any other channel is alright I guess. I don't care for many tv shows, they are so far from reality I guess. Nearly all reality shows aren't actual reality. The only real "REALITY" show I know of is Dog the Bounty Hunter. Anymore, if you want to watch quality tv, it's either A&E, or the Discovery Channel!

1. TV has lost a lot of its sponsors due to videos. People are buying the videos to bypass the commercials, or renting them.

2. So you have half seasons of shows, like The Closer, Battlestar Galactica 2.0 & 2.5 sold separately, 3 discs each, for the same amount you would pay for 6 discs.

3. I think that perhaps sponsors will buy space on the DVDs. But then again, you can always bypass them.

4. You'll see cool shows suddenly get cancelled after one season, and that's because they don't have the cash budget to carry on. Plus, maybe they have a better show they want to produce, but can't do both.

5. The whole world of entertainment has been tipped on it's head due to computers, ipods, itunes, DVDs, CDs, etc. making it easier to bypass a lot to get just what you want.

6. The next 5 years will be interesting as far as what's available on cable.

Yes. It has. You cannot get a reality check from watching TV. I used to like the History Channel, but they are into repeats. All of the commercials irritate me because I do not want anything that they are selling. And I do not get to rate shows and/or commercials like I will be able to do after this and two more answers. Thanks for the reality check tonight. Best Wishes.

I think so, yes. The only way television can seem to show comedy is through anything that deals with sex. The comedy is gone, all I watch is Spongebob pretty much now!

No, it is good fun. There are many more options to watch than ever. You can find intellectually stimulating material on television if you look for what you want.

I agree. There are a lot of shows that don't make any sense. Mostly the adult cartoons, ie, aqua teen hunger force, robot chicken, etc. There are a lot of good shows, it just seems there are more bad ones.

I couldn't agree more. The drama, sex, and overall silliness has def heightened over the years. There are still some good shows out there, but a lot of it is just crap :(
