No, I think it is cute. I went to a Halloween party a few years ago as a fembot and my boyfriend went as Austin Powers. We were a big hit at the party. Everyone thought it was a cool idea.

No, it depends on what the costume is. My daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters went to a Halloween party dressed as Dorothy (my daughter), the Scarecrow (son-in-law), Glinda the Good Witch (6-yr old), and a Flying Monkey (the 1 year old). They were adorable.
While you already gave your thoughts (you think it's cute) I'd say have fun with it. Since it's you and your boyfriend, try these:
Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire
Fred and Wilma Flintstone
George and Jayne Jetson
Popeye and Olive Oyl
"Salt" and "Pepper" Shakers
A pair of "Dice"
"Egg" and "Bacon
Romeo and Juliet
The possibilities are endless! But just remember: have fun and don't get too stressed out about it!
Blessings!

I like it. It really depends on what the costume is. Maybe you can do related costumes.
Dorothy and the cowardly lion
The Grease Couple
Edward Scissorhands and the Girl
Anthony and Cleopatra
Joseph and Mary
Angelina and Brad!!!!

Not stupid at all, you can be creative and come up with something real cool...
John Lennon and Yoko-Ono
Sony and Cher
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne
JFK and Jackie O
Bill and Monica Lewinsky
Gomez and Morticia Addams
Pegg and Al Bundy (from Married with Children)
Hugh Heffner and a Playboy girl
Austin Powers and Foxxy Cleopatra
I hope this helps. ;-)

At least you know which ones go together. I think it's fun and in good sport. In a novel way, one could take different ideas, but make them go together, such as Elmer Fudd and a 'playboy' bunny.

I think it's great. Makes it more fun to go to parties together and maybe come home, let the "role play" continue!

It depends on the costume. If it is too cutesy, yes.
