On one side of the planet, an undersea earthquake triggered a massive tsunami. Beofe the wave swept away the people on the shore, they had several seconds to murmur a prayer for their lives and those of their loved ones.

On the other side of the planet, the captain of a football team gave credit to prayer for the victory of his team.

who wrote the bible ? god or a man ?
What should I belive - science/chirch? My science class is more in to darwin, my chirch is easy to study. I like the father.
Why we need to read old outdated books like bible/quran ?
Why my great grandfather who is uneducated is a well devoted chirch man.
Have anyone seen a ghost or god?
Why the world is round and we are not falling down?

cant i just be a decent person and live according to all biblical laws EXCEPT accepting jesus as my savior, praying, and worshipping? i think jesus was a genius and one of the greatest philosophers to ever live. but i dont want to bow down and worship who i believe was just a great MAN. no offense to anyones beliefs, im asking a serious question. and please dont just preach to me or quote john 3:16.

Our Muslim Brothers believe they have the right to strike people, and kill people,murder people,to strap bombs to them selves ,to murder them selves ,and every body else in there viscinity. To tell us all that these are great acts, Heavely rewarded from God Him self in Heaven ---------------Some thing is VERY, VERY wrong, These acts do not come from God, How can they come from OUR God that created US! No, These acts dont come from our God, but your belief And what is the source of "your" belief, If not God, what / who, from what spiritual saurce. I believe there is much more in there than God, there is curse also, Tell me if you can , from whence it comes. How dare you think you have the right to take life and call it "In the name", The blessed name of OUR "God"--No way Brother !!! Man needs true salvation through the Son, His one and only Door., But this is not for me to say, "Our" God is calling us to His ONE DOOR,------------His Son Christ . This is the truth.

I was just now reading up on him and although it doesn't get deeper on his spirituality from the sources I checked out, I wonder what he really believes behind the scenes.

You may not like his music, and that's cool, but I have a feeling he knows more than his biographers are willing to submit.

People keep asking if there isa god above god, but what about the god above that.
The term god is very vague and might not even be applicable to this question but the concept can overlap.

I just watched a series on DVD that was about a man who had three wives, they all lived harmoniously and the oldest wife was known as the "boss lady". It was kind of sickening and then I thought about how this was common in the Old Testament.

what inspires me is of people from all walks of life overcoming such difficult hurdles in their lives to get to where they are today.
also, people who have been told they are never going to achieve anything, that they are useless, worthless, in that they'll never be anything in life- only to surpass their expectations and their own.
i have so much respect for them seeing as they have gone ahead with their decisions for their sake and not anyone elses and made the most out of it and as best they can.

alas, this could be anything and anyone ranging from celebrities you idolise and have respect for to your members of your family, divine intervention, teachers or tutors, or perhaps it is something you witnessed yourselves that really impressed you and made you realise how grateful they are to the rest of us. also state if you can why they deserve such admiration and praise, especially from yourself. i am looking forward to reading your comments and experiences on this
