What was the experience like for you? Did it make you appreciate your own religion? Or were you so moved that you considered converting?
I am a baptist and i use to attend the Catholic mass because they were shorter than the baptist sermons. I know that sounds bad!

I'm not talking about sin, but rather the choice to make up your own mind about what career you path you want to take, how much free time you spend enjoying your life and other such issues.

My dad past away jan 7/05 and i have been by mom's side ever since.Mom has 2 discal injuries in the back. Her mom( my granny) cant walk nor see. I look over both of them. I also tutored my little sister who thankfully graduated high school.I helepd mom moved, did all her errands, found her a family doctor, etc. Now did i did all that was needed, I wish to start my life again.Well, I have not been working for over a year now. It hurts! Been looking everywhere and still no luck. I also wish to move out. Im tired of being blamed for everything. I dont understand why Im still here. I prayed and ask god for help and its like he is ignoring my prayers. All prayers that were answered where pertaining to others. I dont understand. I'm feeling burned out. The last few weeks I have been feeling weak, like my body was too heavy for me. I only eat once a day. I was feeling so tired that i wanted to take a nap but my heart beat where weird. Like it was slowing down and it scared me.

Let me just say, I definitely think its distasteful for someone to wear their pants sagging, but there are just as many "thugs" that wear business suits, shirt and ties, and we encounter them everyday.

If I have a habit of typing ppl=people or other words that can be abbreviated in a sentence(if I was in a chat...) or use the term, "hate on..."...Is that really being bad at grammar?I'm just lazy to sound professional especially since I am talking about BS stuff.

If it is as easy for a child born and raised a Hindu to recognize the "one true god" as it is for a child born and raised Christian, let us see the proof of it.

Why are the Pope's comments more offensive to Muslims than when a Muslim terrorist claims he is doing Allah's work by killing innocent civilians? Why are the words of an "infidel" (the Pope) more offensive than the deeds of a faithful murderer?

In light of what the pope said ..we have all seen that muslims are demanding an apology...but instead of waiting to see if they will receive the apology ...they are burning churches and back to burning things because they have hurt feelings....this is a sign of who they are truly.....I dont see christians out burning things and burning down places of other religions worship because they have had their beliefs trod upon...to me they are showing who they really are....what happen to we are a peace and love religion?....I dont think it matters whether they get an apology or not...it wont change a thing in how they are reacting .....the world is watching ....

If we look at Maslow's hiearchy of needs we see that those may live in survival mode for their entire life.
And refuse to contribute. They live in the world of consumerism and materialism, it doesn't fit in with the abundance mentality.
Although things arent indefinately abundant, changes need to be constantly fluid and adaptable.
But here is the other side of the argument, those who have self-actualized and see the world as heaven, a place where one can create, a place where infinite knowledge can be explored, are these guys hinting to the others why to see the world in this light?

It may or may not be spiritual, according to the dream you posess, but it's a worthwhile concept to explore.

Is there a pyramid at all really?, Can it just be circles within circles?

I'm so goth, in preschool, the only crayon I used was
black.
I'm so goth I use black cotton balls.
I'm so goth I dyed my shadow black.
I'm so goth, whenever I walk into a room, all the
lights go out.
I'm so goth, whenever I knock on somebody's door they
give me candy.
I'm so goth, when I stop pouting, people ask, "What
are YOU so happy about?"
I'm so goth, when I go outside, the sun sets.
I'm so goth, when I smile people ask me what's wrong.
I'm so goth I tried to use Cheer . . . it cried.
I'm so goth I have carpal tunnel syndrome from
constantly putting the back of my hand to my forehead.

goth #1: I'm so goth the smile muscles in my face have
atrophied.
goth #2: I'm so goth the smile muscles in my face
never GREW.
goth #3: What's a smile?

God cannot understand death, since he cannot die.

God cannot understand confusion, because he knows everything.

God cannot understand what it is to be mislead, because he cannot be mislead.

God cannot know what it is like to make a wrong choice, because god can't make wrong choices.

God cannot know what it is to be obedient, because he has no one to obey.

God cannot know what it is to be human, because he can't forget he's god.

Yet we are to be judged and condemned for not being as perfect as god, unless we believe Jesus is his son.

And those who believe have the smug satisfaction of thinking themselves geniuses while thinking the rest of us ants are stupid and/or evil.

This supposed to be a religion of Love and Compassion?
