That's why the "God" I know exists is the Cosmos, in all its elegant and awe inspiring beauty. I see an intelligent energy there, but it's not a conscious energy - it just "is" - nor is it judgmental or interfering with its components (us and everything else in existence) in any way. This "God" is all that is and ever will be, nature and physics, universal laws, and we're all tiny specks of this profound and infinite energy.

There's the clincher... You have to believe that Jesus was who He claimed to be before you can understand anything else about God & His purposes.
Jesus knows death, temptation, humanity, obedience, etc. because He lived as a human man.But because He was also God, He already knew the consequences of allowing ourselves to be misled, confused, and making wrong choices.
Christians don't think they're any more intelligent. The fact remains, we know things that non-believers don't know. Much the same way an Astrophysicist knows things that I don't know.

God did come to earth as a human and endured as much suffering, pain, humiliation, betrayal, etc... as any human that has walked the earth. He understood and experienced all the emotions from joy to sorrow during his life and ministry. He not only created us but became us to redeem humanity.
If offering your only begotten son to redeem all humanity isn't the greatest act of love and compassion, then I do not know what those words mean!

In the model of the trinity, Jesus is said to be not only fully God (the incarnation of love itself) but also fully man. He, it is said, was tempted in all ways and yet remained without sin.
Yes, I realize there are logical problems with this.

Jesus is God. He was obedient to the Father, the Devil tried to confuse and mislead Him, He was God in the flesh and He died and rose again.
Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Whether you believe it or not, God is love and compassion! You think you will sway people's belief with these rambling questions, but there are plenty of us who have faith and we know God understands all, because He is God. To choose to do Satan's work will only lead to Hell. Please think about it...I will be praying.

You have posted all lies.
God does understand death because His son Jesus died on the cross, and Jesus and God are one in the same.
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
God does know what confusion is, but He is not the author if it. Satan is. God is the author of truth.
God is the creator of every one and every thing. Just because He will not be mis led, does not mean that He does not know what it is.
God is Almighty and Good, and wrong and evil is not in HIm.
God made the laws, so He infact does know what obedience means. Someone who doesnt' believe in obedience does not know how to obey. Disobedience is the tool of satan who is an expert at it.
God and Jesus are one in the same, and Jesus was here as one of us humans, so your post is moot.
People are judged for not being obedeint to God and His laws and not accepting His son Jesus as their savior.
IF Christians felt the way you claim we do, why do we spend so much time trying to lead you to a better way of life with Jesus?
It is the way of life as a Christian which is filled with love and compassion. Living with out Jesus in your life is not living, but merely exhisting, and it has a definate end to it. Salvation goes on and on and on. Praise the Lord.
I just proved every one of your statements to be false as well as self centered and , using your word "stupid".

damn, bob--you're one bitter son of a b i t c h.
no wonder your wife left you.
i've been thinking about that---she had to make a conscious decision not to let you know she was sick. she had to make a conscious decision to tell her family not to let you know anything about her illness.
i wondered about that when i read your post where you were boo-hooing about being notified of her death by your lawyer. something just didn't add up.
now it makes sense. you're just too bitter and eat up with hate for anyone to be around you for long. what has Christianity done to you that makes you hate it so much?
you're a sad puppy.

Furthermore, if God is so great, we must seem like ants seem to him. We step on and kill ants all the time with no thought at all about it. God must feel the same way toward us.
