You can always join the Fred Phelps group. But in my opinion the less "passionate" and emotional you are about religion, the better. You would be happier and wiser if you approach life more analytically, with more discernment between what's worthwhile and what's much ado about nothing.

I am a Christian and I stand up for all things in Christ. There is nothing stopping you from doing the same thing as a Christian too. I am very well aware that I am not lilked very much here, but I'm not here for a popularity contest. I am here standing up for God's word and sharing it with others the way He wants us as Christians to.

Their anger that can flare up at the silliest joke and their self-righteousness don't make me feel envious of Muslims or Evangelicals (they're so similar!). I'd better keep distance from such influences, and in this case I do mean it: for God's sake.

Christians are taught that, because the world hated Jesus, we would also be hated. We are to accept the hate and slurs on His behalf and pray for those who persecute us. This is what He commands, and this is what we must do without question.

So, no, I do not view the Christian reaction as being inferior in any way.

Peace.

If you feel strongly about something, then stand up for it. Don't worry about what other people are doing. Just be passionate and not overly agressive.

there is nothing about being so maniacal that you are willing to die and kill innocents in the process that i find worthy of being jealous about. They are committed to a falsity, its sad.

You mean you wish to be as intolerant as they are then? Do you really think that's admirable?
