I am 14 and i like this guy but i know, or at least was told, that he was straight. i have liked him for 11 months and i told myself as soon as i heard that that i didn't want to like him no more. i try but i cant seem to shake him. i try to forget him but i cant and it drives me crazy i. i didn't ask for this and i need help. what do i do?

Is it sad when one person ends a friendship with another person, because they find the other person to ask obnoxious questions that are miscategorized on yahoo answers?

Do you think the ex-friend well notice that he or she is not a 360 friend anymore? Do you think she will wonder, why aren't my instant messages being returned?

Is it embarrasing to go on yahoo answers and read a friend ending the friendship, all because the person asks science questions in the religious section?

Perhaps the friend doing the ditching isn't a real friend, I admit, it is kind of a dick thing for this person whoever he or she is to do this.

Is it ethical to pick and choose are friends, and stop a friendship because we are annoyed with our friends yahoo answers questions?

One of the things I came to realization about life is that it is so unpredictable. I used to think my life is invincible but after having gone through several near-death experiences and witnessing young people's lives cut short by car accidents, illnesses, heart attacks, I began to have different perspective about life.
I want to live every day like it is my last. I want to live my life to the fullest every day. That way, when I leave this world, I will leave without any regrets.
But it really is easier said than done. I try hard for a while but easily go back to thinking mode by saying to myself, "I tried enough. I don't need to try this hard. I need some fun and enjoyment in life."
How do I live every day like it is the last day of my life so I can be proud of myself at the end of each day and don't feel like, "I could have done more or better?"

I had a dream that was pretty vivid and cannot think of what it might have meant. It was me and my soon-to-be fiance on a jet ski in some water that looke like a lake, but the water was pretty clear. There were cliffs and everything, and basically there were these HUGE waves that we had to go over, but we did it and it was fun. Any ideas?

When I see my race made fun of, I don't take it personally. I am a person and my race doesn't define who I am. Why does every other race besides white get so offended at racial stereotypes? If I see that your answers are angry, then you'll have proved me correct in what I say, so don't be angry.

I'm an old white boy. My niece and my nephew are obviously of African ancestry. My sister has a good job, and spent lots of money on their food, clothing, education. Now, IF black people are going to get money from white people, how should this family handle it? Does my sister get to deduct half the money she spent, since it went to persons half black? Do my niece and nephew have to pay anything, since they look black enough to be discriminated against? Since they are apparently half white, do they only get half as much? Could they just write each other a check for the same amounts? If one of their grandparents was descended from old-time slaves, and the other from a U.N. staff member who came here in 1959, do they only get one-fourth as much?

I fear that reparations will not bring peace and justice. Most of the people who pay, will resent it as too much, and, I fear that many of the people who GET the money will resent it as not enough.
