Good question and I did rate it as such.

In the view of a "NO" the Bible is a book which contains the words that My God wants humankind to understand. Do note that is much different than the words that say the Bible is the word of God.

I see the Bible as a book that just sets forth facts to be considered by each and everyone who read it. From what is recorded the one who is reading is to understand what is said and why it is said in view of the other words written in the Bible. I see the Bible is of great value if the reader puts value on it and I see it as with little value if the reader places that little value label on it.

I agree that in the Bible every commandment in the 10 commandments were violated. Read the whole book and you can see that.

With that I must ask you to consider one question. If another does something does that make it right or wrong? Is not right or wrong determined by a set guideline or standard?

With that look up where adultry was committed. Was it said to be right? Was it said to be wrong? Do read the account carefully before you do answer OK.

My friend your question is one that must be ask by a person who is really trying to understand what is really in the Bible words. For that reason I did rate it good.

Do have a great day and know this is just my view and my opinion of the Bibles I read. I do not insist that others accept my view OK

People commited murder in the Bible and it's a commandment. The commandments were the laws issued by God. Discipline methods were also issued for those who broke the law. The Bible has many hsitorical books depicting life in those times. It discusses the good and the bad.

The Bible reveals men and women for who they are. It doesn't sugar coat anything nor cover up anyones sins. Men also murdered, stole and lied as well, that doesn't negate the laws of God.
