Yes, real friends care about each other and DON'T lie, like mine did.....
Real friends hurt in their hearts when their friends are going through troubles. Real friends encourage their friends to work out problems with others. Real friends also give their friends a few hours of escape from life by going out to a bar or something. Real friends do not play mind games.

I believe a real friend would show genuine interest. But remember sometimes life gets all of us running behind.

Yes because when you are a real friend you want to make sure they are doing well, if they are happy, sad, in between. You want to know how they feel about the world and how the perceive things. You want to know because that is part of accepting them for who they are in their entirety.

One would hope they would. Why? Because it makes the friend in question feel validated and happy. Friendship is love, and love is about feeling good.

Well, of course! If you're a real friend, you feel about your friend's happiness and sadness as though they were yours. You actually ARE happy if your friend is happy, and sad if your friend is sad.
