So the only point of living for you is God? Does that mean that when you're hugging your parents, brothers or children, making love to whoever you make love to, hanging out with friends, listening to good music, watching a good film, admiring nature, enjoying a good book or the wonder of learning something new, ALL you're thinking of is God? Wow, that's a limited life you've got there...

Wow - the only thing I can think of more pathetic than this question is the guy who said that atheists will say it's to live in sin.

Your desperation is showing, guys. That oughta be a sign that you need to change.

There is no 'point' other than procreation..if that gets you off.

Does believing that a 'God' gives your life meaning make you feel superior?

If so....great. That's wonderful. I don't go around trying to knock other people's beliefs.

But please tell me how I am going to 'hell' if that makes you feel even MORE superior. Oh and what about the Islams and the Buddhists and the literally BILLIONS of other who over the course of history were never even introduced to your Jesus???? Hell for them too? Bummer.

I neither believe nor disbelieve in god, and the point of living is to end our earthly desires and our suffering, thus escaping the samsara and this painful existence.

the same reason any other thing is on this planet. plants don't know about god or believe in god, so why are they here? the same reason we are here. To live. the only reason, is the one that each person decides is the reason.

You possess a mind. Use it! I'm an agnostic, and I know this world sucks, but I use my imagination to create a better existence for myself. I also have people I love, and I enjoy playing with the heads of obtuse and nasty people. Remember....when you finally die, you will be dead for a long, long time. Have fun, and say screw it!

To help others and make the world a better place for future generations. You don't need God for that. It's just the right thing to do.
