Obviously many people do not follow their religion's message of peace and love. Maybe because there are mixed messages in the religion, but the message is in there. So is it better to try to get people to follow the peaceful message, or to just discard religion, and stop hating people in the name of God all together? Without God, no Jihad. Without God, no text that says who is unworthy.

I've just seen nine, yes nine magpies in a group. There's a rhyme about it, but I don't think it goes that far:

1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl, 4 for a boy....can't remember the rest of it. Any ideas?

Every day many of you get into a car and dump a ton of posion into the Air that God created and bit by bit you are killing the planet.

This posion is in your homes. It is in the room used by your babies, your grandma and pa.

This posion can be measured.

One day you may have to answer to God about this.

Do you have a good, Christian, none selfish answer as to why you help create the so-called "greenhouse" gases, smog and why you use, daily, a chemical substance that is a known carsenogenic?

It also finaces the Islamic regime that wants world Islam and will kill any infidel.

Why do people think Christians are so weird? I mean seriously--why do people think that? It's not like we blow ourselves up in the middle of the street or fly planes into buildings in the name of our God. We don't worship cows or fat bald men. We don't believe people die and come back as other objects/animals/people. We don't believe people evolved from apes or that a huge explosion started the universe. We don't have like 10 husbands/wives and have like 30 kids with each. So why do people think we are so weird? I mean seriously--what do you think of when you hear the word "Christian"? Because whatever you're thinking or have been thinking is probably wrong. I mean, I'm sitting here on the internet, eating doritos, and listening to Aerosmith--and I'm a Christian! Yet some people have stereotyped us into these on-fire-for-Jesus freaks who condemn people to hell and shove religion down people's throats when we don't. Why does everyone think we are so freaking weird?

I am a 25 year old Indian girl. I work full time and am doing a part time MBA course at work. I live at home and my parents wont let me move out! I have to face emotional abuse and guilt from them when Im at home. I dont have any friends where I live.

I was speaking to one friend (old college friend - she nows lives 100 miles away from me) at 11pm last night. My parents must have heard me talking on the phone and my mum came in all angry and told me to get off the phone. I heard my dad bickering all angry to my mum afterwards. This got me depressed and I cried. They dont care as long as I dont have friends.

I never go out. only into town to shop for clothes and stuff. I work 9-5, mon -fri. I come straight home after work.

My life is so depressing and I feel so lonely. I live on the net everyday I come home...

Is there anyone who understand what Im going through.....? :*(

The short version:men physically and emotionally attractive, but for whatever reason are offended with the stigmas that currently define the gay community in the public psyche. Anal-sex is not tolerated ever. G0YZ also reject (due to well developed theology), the lax & lazy prejudices that have arisen in conservative fundamentalist circles against all same-gender sexuality. Many G0YS are GAY or BI identified men (who might wear those labels If they were not aware of the G0Y movement). Many G0YS are STRAIGHT identified (involved in marriage or exclusive relationships with women) also - but have these deep feelings for masculine affection nonetheless. Many of these men have had 1 or more sexual encounters with other men (not anal) & lack the language to describe those feelings & relationships. The terrm "gay" simply encloses too large a group & the diverse associated stereotypes. G0YS are not homo-phobic (as we readily admit that we are men who lovemasculinity). Nice try Nostromo :-)

Anyone know of a good list that separates what each of the christian religions believe in that keep them as separate religions? (ie. what's different from catholicism, baptists, evangelicals, lutherans, methodists, presbyterians, angelican, protestants (although I think protestants are all the christianities that are non-catholic?), and any others I may have missed.

What would be great is if there was like, and excel spreadsheet breaking it all down. Can anyone help with this?

In light of the recent shootings at a school in Montreal, do you tyhink certain websites should be shut down?
From what the news reports say this guy that did this was a member of vampirefreaks.com ....AND was posting pictures of himself with guns and talking about "kiling"..."you've got to die sometime "and other disturbing statements. Peole on this website must have seen this and NOT ONE person reported him.
In the light of this knowledge do you think websites such as this that promote dark things like killing mutilation and suicide should be shut down? And if so , how would a person go about shutting a site such as this down?

Alright, I wont smoke near you, but you need to stop driving your gas-guzzling, air polluting SUV past my house when i am sitting outside. Is it a deal? If not, then I have just as much right to smoke on in public as you do to drive. You car emits more smoke into the atmosphere in one hour than i will in a lifetime. Arent all thse ani-smoke nazis a bunch of hypocrites?

I've been to many churches all claiming to be a "house of god" but there is no evidence that he was ever there. No giant slippers, no huge towels in the bathroom. Should they stop the false advertising or will no one really care? No one seemed to notice as they sang to him that he didn't applaude or even say thank you. What a jerk! Don't you agree?

Dont b too defensive yet..these r juz my opinions:
1)among all religions,Muslims can't choose their faith..they gotta b Muslim at birth(except minority few)
2)when non-muslim marry them,regardless of male or female.gotta convert,follow their religion.(which i think d wife should follow the husband)
3)they must pray 5 times daily.Seems like an obligation;a task.If a person is sincere,he can pray anytime,anywhere. Praying is talking to God,say what ur heart wants to say,not a routine praying script.
Lastly, they like to have things going their ways.eg:Islamic terrorists,they use violences n killing to solve problem.They want to be domination of d entire world.Wanting to dominate the Holy Land too.
The muslim religion is not a religion of freedom,as practiced today.
Muslims kill people for wrighting what they think,Salomon Rushdie has a price on his head.Muslims even killed pple becoz of cartoons.Quite a barbaric practices.
