The Bible prophecied that all of those empires or world governments would fall from power or would be totally put out of existance with the exception of England (England is a country, not an empire) . Soon, all human governments will be gone and only God's righteous government will rule over the earth.--See Daniel 2:44 and Psalms 37:9-11

Because every empire crumbles.

Egypt fell because of the Hyksos and roman invaders.

Grece crumbled because of the Persian conquests.

Rome fell because it strecthed itself too thin, became politically corrupt, and lost the backing of its people. The invasion of the hunds and germans brought about the final blow.

The English empire fell because it too stretched itself too thin, and was unable to maintain power over its colonies (think America).

None of these have anything to do with Israel.

In the case of Babylon, Nebuchadnezar was uppity about his status and he had to be humbled by God. In the very near future, all governments will be destroyed and only one will stand to time indefinite, Daniel 2:44 speaks of God's government that will take the place of all these governments and it will not be made to totter to time indefinite and forever.
