Dont b too defensive yet..these r juz my opinions:
1)among all religions,Muslims can't choose their faith..they gotta b Muslim at birth(except minority few)
2)when non-muslim marry them,regardless of male or female.gotta convert,follow their religion.(which i think d wife should follow the husband)
3)they must pray 5 times daily.Seems like an obligation;a task.If a person is sincere,he can pray anytime, anywhere. Praying is talking to God,say what ur heart wants to say,not a routine praying script.
Lastly, they like to have things going their ways.eg:Islamic terrorists, they use violences n killing to solve problem. They want to be domination of d entire world.Wanting to dominate the Holy Land too.
The muslim religion is not a religion of freedom,as practiced today.
Muslims kill people for wrighting what they think,Salomon Rushdie has a price on his head.Muslims even killed pple becoz of cartoons.Quite a barbaric practices.
if u hv gd explanation, share here

Every religion has its fanatics. Sure the whole "you're dead if you convert" thing with some Muslims is nutso but so is the "women should not be heard in Church" thing with some very conservative Christian groups. Some Muslims seem way self-centered but I work with several who are the most awesome friends. Some Christians are self-centered and some Jews are self-centered too...I mean the "we want all of Jerusalem and we will harrass you til you leave" thing against non-Jews is a bunch of crap. Get a bunch of any religion together and you have a good shot at getting some whacko fringe folks as well. Like Rodney King said, "can't we all just get along"?

if you ever read about the period during the ottoman empire and during the period where the muslims and jew lived peacefully hundereds of years ago(research on that), they were happy together in the holy land.
what happened then?
the jew drove the muslims out and wiped out palestine from the map and expanded their existing territory into palestine and called israel. kind of them to do that.
try finding palestine on the map, you cant find them.
not every muslim is the same. like you and i. do we have the same character or attitude? no.
so there are muslims who are misleaded and resort to violence because they misinterpret the Koran wrongly.
the jews know that if they drew cartoons on Muhammad(peacg be upon him), they would outrage the muslims.
the prophet isnt like you, me, tom and dick and harry.
then what is so great about him?
find out elsewhere from here because you'll be limited to the answers from this place.
yes prayer is what the heart whats to say. that's why it's routine. true muslims dont pray for the sake of being forced or asked to pray. they know the real reasons and benefits behind it.
if it's just a regular one off thing, why would there be more and more people be converting to islam in the US?

the info from there can change your mind totally.

hey honey, you should really be careful before posting these kinds of questions. this is the kind that can start conflicts.
I am not a Muslim...and to answer your question..what you see is just one side of the picture. there are a lot of other Muslim countries around the world that are peaceful. the news we see is just what's highlighted, but it does not represent the whole muslim population.
if you try to do a little bit more research, you would also know that most muslim people condemn terrorist acts.
and to add more, terrorism isnt conducted by muslim people alone. there are a lot of terroristic acts and crimes committed by other races. its not even a question of religion in the first place.
so babe, i suggest you do a follow-up message, and apologize to our muslim fellowmen.
the branding and stereotyping have to stop. and it should start with us.

1. First all are Muslim by birth because if you understand what the word muslim means which is " the one who submits" and we are all in subjection to Gods wills.
2. A female or male are not forced to covert to islam there is No Compusltion in Islam. Only thing Muslims women cannot marry non muslim men.
3. Allah deserves all praise and worship and commands this times are and out of a busiest days we Go to Him in suplications. it is not a inconvencace to prayer to your lord if that is self centered are doing what one has to do for there on soul so be it.there are 1.2 billion follwers to Islam and there 1 billion Catholics not including the side sects of Christainity. But it is not ISlam to take over the world it people wanting to know the truth do not be jealous because people to stick to same lies yr being told.
it is a religion of Freedom and it is way of life every aspects of A Muslim is there faith and we leave it and breathe it cuz we choose too. like Jesus he lived and breathe service to God why can't we.
Not All Muslim kill people only the crazy ones who mis interpreted the Quran like the Christians who go and blow Abortion clinics are Hung black folks on the tree or the ones who stole the land form the indians or the ones that are killing americans soliders for a war they that makes no sense. just because they look like and seems like Muslims does not mean they pratice the deen how many times must i tell you people. or the Catholic Priest's who feel on the little boys and girls are not praticeing there Religion think about it and then come with somethine better. Salaam No Muslim is in a rush to die but will die for the belief and protect of there own is that not what most people do in war are what american do if a robbery breaks in there home and threathen there family or way of life.

I think you should try actually talking to a Muslim before you pass judgement on them. The terrorists are no more a good example of what Muslims are like than the KKK is a good example of what Christians are like. Every Muslim I know is very kind and not self centered at all.

to comprehend this we'd want to first comprehend the idea of 'The Muslim Brotherhood,' preached by employing some Egyptian Fundamentalists. To them, a Muslim might want to help their personal style hostile to non-Muslims. for this reason the entire Muslim international reacts very strongly to the Palestinian difficulty, and why the Taliban grew to develop into so good even as it resisted the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. Muslims from different elements of the international volunteered themselves to wrestle to the death for the liberation of their brothers' countries from the infidels' rule. it really is the position their capacity comes from.

Everything you said expect praying five times a day is untrue.
Have you researched Christian History? All religions go through this. Also study the history of the U.s. domestic and foreign relations. If you study it, you will see things a lot clearer.

all religions have problems with people leaving the faith. virtually no religions allow intermarriage. this includes judaism and christianity, and often christians are not allowed to even marry other christians unless they are both of the same denomination as well. praying five times a day should not be seen as a "task" unless your faith in G-d is merely convenient rather than heartfelt. and there are extemists in every religion. you do know about the KKK right? a bunch of protestant christians who like to kill and threaten black people and catholics? and maybe you have never heard about any of the bombings of abortion clinics by christians, or of how contraceptives for women are still forbidden in many christian religions.

ya people even are blood thirsty for Rossie for saying something on -- 'THE VIEW'? so there goes all ur talks in thin air? where is the freedom of religion now?
wow this is funny -- it was "Freedom of media and free speech" and no one owed an apology when the Danish news paper released disgracing cartoons about someone elses' faith. but when the fingers are pointing to their own religion, peopl require an apology. why such double standards? so what Rosie said on 'THE VIEW' wasn't wrong and isnt it in ur very own words -- Freedom of Speech and Religion?
