Why a minority cannot be racist?
Why only whites can be racist?

Heaven or hell is where we will all live the rest of our existence. This is just a pin prick in all eternity and yet we concetrate mostly on the here and now. Sometimes, I just wish I knew more what to expect of the hereafter and what it will be like.

"By freewill we mean that man's will is not coerced. We mean that man is not forced by some external force greater than himself to do something he does not want to do. We mean that man is free to do what he wants to do within the limits of his ability."

– G.I. Williamson

If freewill exist then we should have no limits, but we do. Ignorance limits all. Freewill is an illusion. I can make a choice, but that choice was only determined by what life gave me.

One reason for teen pregnancy is the fact that they want to prove that they are responsible by raising a child. Am I right? So then in turn they "accidentally" get pregnant.

Jesus was preaching all day and was tired and needed a place to stay but had no money. So he goes into the local inn, throws 3 nails on the counter, and asks, 'Can you put me up for the night?'

My younger sister is really smart. Her mind is really quick and her analytical skills are beyond normal. She has an answer for everything and gets As in classes she barely studies for ( I hate her for that). But those are only the classes she says she's interested in. Anything that requires a little more effort, she gives up and is satisfied with a lower grade ( although she could have easily gotten a better grade).
She's super lazy but people don't see that because she manages to be at the top of her class without any work. I feel it's going to hurt her in the long run. Is there any solution?

I watched the PBS Frontline special last night on 9/11. It was kind of a show about the World Trade center attack and how certain religious leaders or even regular folks thought about it. A priest commented that it made folks think more deeply about the afterlife. Made them less materialistic. Anyways, at the end of the show there were images of the people that were jumping to their death and holding hands and crying as they fell. One person commented that as he flew over in a helicopter and saw this he felt that God is a very indifferent God. He will not intervene in the events/ affairs of his creation. kind of like acknowledging that God exists but keeps a permanent distance. What do you think?

I asked a question about abiogenesis and the majority of the answers flat out rejected it without any thought, a few had open minds which was great, and one felt like slandering me instead of adressing the issue because I made slip up in a statement. I never even said that I was right, just asked if people had considered it. I'd go as far as to say the way the scientists demonstrated it (amino acids forming from non-organic matter) is definately not how life started, but could have played a part. All I was saying was that abiogenesis does have scientific backing and shouldn't be discredited. Obviously not many people want to consider things that conflict with their own views though.

Obviously to assume anything is true because that's all we know so far is ignorant, and that is actually a much bigger statement against religion than any theoretical science. So why is it so hard for some people to keep an open mind? Were you there when life started? Do you know what the Earth was like?

A friend is leaving New York City, the "Right Coast" for the "Left Coast" in two weeks, bound for San Clemente, California.I am soooooooo jealous he gets to "Drop Out" and "Tune In". 40 years ago this was the norm and expected, although with a little help, which would require one to "Go ask Alice".Ahh, sad, these days we found out that the Great American "Go ask Alice" Experiment Failed.

The 2006 "Drop Out and Tune In" means you enjoy plying the road in a Lexus for a month before you end up and MBA program at Berkeley. If Grace Slick of "Jefferson Starship" sang "Go Ask Alice"....well, different program entirely......

So you get to the 'Spiritual Alice", i.e., this Alice, Birkenstock clogged, short, punky hair with chunky blond highlights concealing her grays-she will hand you a granola bar as you pass the Caterpillar, who tuned his mushroom into a vacation condo and will be seen running off, attending his 12 step Hookah anonymous meetings. They had to leave Olde England for Northern California for tax reasons.

The Red Queen took advantage of an early retirement program and now runs a Lesbian Retreat House, called "The Door Knocker", an ill understood reference to some retro term from a half a century ago, which referred to the brass thing that people used to think would talk back to them as they clunked it on the front door. Poor doorknocker has been relegated to a glass memoirs cabinet, along with a dusty picture of Timothy Leary, the Caterpillars's old hookah (makes a wonderful vase for fresh cut flowers too), all managed by the Rabbit, who got his MBA in the hospitality business at Northwestern.

Rabbit recently reflected:

"Oh, poor us, we all lost the way with the Turtle Doves at some point and ended up in the retail chain Bed and Breakfast line, not like the old days at all". "After the red knights refused to work with non organic paint, we had to give up the rose garden for local, indigenous varieties of fauna". "Red Queen bailed out on stock options."

should I be Aragorn or a pirate for Halloween? (please consider factors like simplicity, being able to use things from around the house, and cost before answering.) I'm 16 and most likely will be able to dress up for school. what would be good things to have for either, including makeup, and where are good places to get them if I don't have them?
I know for Aragorn, there's the cape (already have from a Frodo costume), shirt, pants, boots, sword (will have to be plastic) and scabbard, dagger (?) with scabbard (need help with scabbard), and what else?
for pirate costume, sword (again, plastic) with scabbard, eyepatch, various makeup, pirate-like clothes...what else?
or if there is something else you can think of that has to do with fencing, stick fighting, karate, or Lord of the Rings, feel free to suggest it

After worship little Johhny walked up to the song leader and said " I didn't know there was an angel named Hue." The song leader was baffled as to what little Johnny was talking about. He asked Johnny " where did you here that there is an angel named Hue?' To which Johhny replied "From you. You sang a song about him today." The song leader was even more baffled. He asked Johhny "What song did I sing about an angel named Hue." Johhny was getting a little impatient now so he looked the song leader right in the eyes and said " YOU REMEMBER. The song Our God, He Is Alive. You know. The part where we sang "He tinted skies with heavenly Hue!"
