One reason for teen pregnancy is the fact that they want to prove that they are responsible by raising a child. Am I right? So then in turn they "accidentally" get pregnant.

I think most of the time it happens because they weren't taught to have sex responsibly. So they get pregnant by "accident".

I actually saw a talk show with teenagers that actually wanted to have children. I think they were thinking of the child as a pet they could dress up or something, not realizing the responsibilities parenting entailed. The talk show host cared them straight by giving them lifelike dolls that cried at 3am, and peed all the time (to simulate a real baby).

Some don't think "it" will happen to them, some think the baby will love them.
