The WWW is technology. So was movable type. Look how much evil has been spread by print. Lies, sedition, porn. But the first book printed with movable type was a Bible. Invention is neither good nor evil, it's what man chooses to do with them.
I don't think God approves of everything done on the WWW, just as He does not approve of all that is printed. But good can come of both.

God would approve of the World Wide Web if it is used properly. It should be used to help others and give people useful information. God approves of anything that is GOOD.

The teacher was walking with his students down the road. They came to the body of a dog that had died. The body was old, and decay had become advanced, and the body was deteriorating.
The students were horrified at the sight, and smell. They walked as far as they could get from the body, held their noses, turned their heads away, and made noises of disgust. The teacher kept to his path, and turned and gazed at the dog lying there, then walked on without comment.
When they had all passed the place, the students asked "didn't you see that awful putrefaction and decay, and notice that awful smell?"
The teacher replied, "but did you also see the beautiful white teeth of the dog?"

God will see what is good and beautiful in anything. And there is a lot of good to be found when people can reach out to each other on the internet.

I would think he does as he did give us freedom of choice. Throughout scripture, people have been encouraged (and expected) to gather knowledge to learn and to grow. No one can say you don't learn much on the web; it's about what you chose to do on the web that really matters. I think if we open one mind, or let someone know they aren't alone it at least partially makes up for the stupid and ignorant things other people do on-line.

There is nothing to approve or disapprove of. God is interested in what we do with it. Things are morally neutral.
Thank you for opening a door which needs to be world wide open.

God gave us the knowledge to develop the World Wide Web. He also gave us the ability to know right from wrong. I am sure he is proud of our accomplishments but disappointed with how some of us use it (ie. pornography).

I think, just like anything else, it depends on how you use it. There are some great Christian websites, information/ research sites, etc. that I don't see him having a problem with, but there are other sites that are horrible, and make people look horrible, I don't see how he could be happy with those sites...
If you use something for the good, no problem, if you use it for perversion, no way.

Like fire, it can be used for good or for bad.
It is being used to share the Good News all over the globe. It could be that it helped to complete the Great Commission and Christ could return for His Bride at any moment.

Its like anything else we've made. TV, radio, and so forth. It can be used for good or bad. We decide how it will be used. It, in and of itself, is neither good or bad.
God approves and disapproves of how we choose to utilize it.
