When I was at Sunday School I learned the song (below). As we sang, the song leader showed a book with coloured pages and no words. As we sang different lines, different coloured pages were shown.

My heart was black with sin.................(black page shown)
Until the Saviour came in.
His precious blood, I know...................(red page shown)
Has washed me white as snow..........(white page shown)
And in His word we're told
We'll walk on streets of gold................(gold page shown)
What a wonderful wonderful day
When my sins were washed away.

The book usually came with a green cover but the green was never mentioned. I like the examples, above, that suggest that 'green' means growth which occures with reading the bible, prayer, fellowship with other Christians and being taught by teachers of the Word ("faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God")

The wordless book is actually a way to lead some one to the Lord. First the color yellow represents the streets of Gold, the color black represents Sin, the color red represents the Shed Blood of Jesus, the color white represents our Sins are cleaned up, and the color green means to GROW. Go to church, Read your Bible, Obey God's Word, Witness to Others. 1 John 1:9, John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Roams 3:23. Revelation 21:21.
