Today, in Reno, NV, the great Balloon Races are taking place. Included in the race is a Hot Air Balloon in the shape of Jesus. He appears to be perched on a cloud with his arms at his sides. There is nothing else that this balloon could be. It is deffinitly in the shape of Jesus. Being of no religion, I find this to be offensive, in the fact that it is in the sky over the entire town, being seen from everywhere in the town. If I was to go to the organizers of this event, they would do nothing. If I was to try and enter a Satan balloon, I would be rejected almost immediatly. So, why is it that the religious people can take offense to whatever they want, but us non-religious people just have to deal with all of your crap?

Where is it in the Bible - the word of God - that there is even such a thing as Football?

Atheists and Agnostics lie about Football to seperate us from God.

They are liars and hypocrites.

Tell me, what verse is football? Where?

Hello everyone, welcome to another installment of All American Carl's All American Logical. This question relates to the black community, especially in the USA. Now, before you start to flame just because i'm making a debate, open your eyes and ears, you might just learn something or realize what you haven't known. Now really, people these days are freaking out about racisms, wanting to pretend that all stereotypes are completely wrong, and that our personalities, bodies, actions and etc and 100% EQUAL, when this is verrrry far from the case. First off, for alittle bit of harsh evidence, lets start off by saying that the per capita crime rate of blacks is much higher than whites, do your research, the figures are astonishingly lopsided. It seems as if in America, if you are black, you're either a "gangster" who commits many crimes and has no reguard for anything, or you are a "white black person" who is made fun of by most blacks because of your status. why can't blacks seem to fit in?

The Bible says:

"Who is a liar but he that denies Jesus is the Christ. He is anti-Christ that denied the Father and the Son". (I John 2:22)

Are you a liar?
"All....liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire..."(Revel. 21:8)

Have a happy eternity....just remember it was YOUR choice.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE CHRISTIANS ONLY PLEASE... unless you have a comment that has something to do with the question (aka: has this influenced you in any way?)

Why do people keep saying that we don’t have to follow the old testament, when Jesus followed a very large part of it & he even quotes from it & he also says he isn't here to....

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

He fulfilled the prophecies about his coming. That doesn’t mean to erase the law; there are more than the 10 we must follow. .

Yes the bible says you must believe in Jesus to come to the father, but you must hear his words in a whole.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

His blood didn't erase law. It erased sin. His death didn’t replace the laws of the Old Testament. He taught points in the bible that the old testament followers either were misinterpreting & he taught where they were not following certain laws that god gave them.

If you dispute it say what Jesus says not other prophets.

Matthew traces Jesus's lineage all the way back to Abraham, to fulfull the prophecy that the son of God was to be of the house of David. It is traced from Joseph, Mary's husband. But the story of Jesus's birth claims that Joseph was not Jesus's biological father. Why trace the lineage through him if that is the case?

As simply as possible, tell me something you believe to be true (anything at all), and then write as briefly as possible, something to convince me that it is true.

Give it a try. Long answers are cool too, its up to you.

cheers : )

Can I put them in the recycling bin that I put my newspapers in? They are collected bi-weekly with the trash. I have so many cosmo mags (like 2 years worth) and i know a hospital or somewhere like that wouldn't appreciate the donation of Cosmopolitan because of some of the articles that are in it..;-)
