Feelings are connected to you, not the person who insults you.
I withstand numerous jokes about blondes, although I am an established and respected technician in IT.
If someone insults you, make a joke about it, such as saying Fat Albert's "hey hey hey", or just by laughing.
Most of all, if it does hurt you, regardless of what you show publicly, then maybe you should consult a therapist. You need to rebuild your self esteem and realize everyone, no matter who they are and what they look like, are beautiful.
