Okay. I have this friend who is practically on the verge of suicide. A little over 5 months ago, he was raped by a guy outside a night-club at about 2am. My friend is married and has three kids. He never told his wife about the incident, just me and another close friend. He tried to call a rape crisis line at the time and thier response was "are you kidding?". He tried to call hotlines to see about getting tested or treatement for possible exposure to HIV. Nothing, since it was an "uknown".
Now, for the horrible part. It turns out, he (my friend), is in fact HIV positive. He says he has only had sex with his wife like 4 times in the last 5 months, and never ejaculated because he "just couldn't do it". He feels like his manhood has been stripped away, and so abviously needs some counseling and such in this regard, but this one, with winding up HIV positive is a doosy. He knows he needs to (HAS to) tell his wife, but wants to wait until after thier sons birthday pary

Consider the design components of your arm:

6. This design doesn't deal well with changes to its blueprint, as changes to a single enzyme can destroy the entire system:

In light of this evidence, why should I believe that the arm is the result of unintelligent chaos, rather than Intelligent Design?

Since these wack job muslims, islams, and other radicals are so gung ho to be suicide bombers. . .here is what I propose. When we capture these scumbuckets. . . lets put them in jets that are being taken out of service. . . and via remote control fly them into terrorist installations. Just like the adopt a highway program. . we could have an adopt a terrorist program where people could make donations for the fuel it will take to fly these bastards into areas to kill their own! Please don't tell me this is inhumane because criminals and terrorists HAVE NO RIGHTS!!!! I've heard a lot of explanations that creationists have for the term "theory", all of them come from a position of ignorance or just plain stupidity.
Here is an explanation, in the simplest terms ( just for you creationists, I know we have to keep things VERY simple for you) of the word, 'theory';
A theory is an explanation. The validity of a theory rests upon its ability to explain phenomena. Theories may be supported, rejected, or modified, based on new evidence. Gravitational theory, for example, attempts to explain the nature of gravity. Cell theory explains the workings of cells. Evolutionary theory explains the history of life on Earth.

So you see that there are no laws in Science. Even gravity has no law. (Newton wrote his own "laws" but they are not accepted by modern scientists) nor does relativity or thermodynamics. They are theories and will always remain so.
The same applies to Evolution.
That means something can be true, and a theory at the same time.
Understand?

I plan to be buried in the same clothes that I was born in. They'll probably be pretty wrinkly after wearing them for so many years, I've washed them a few times but I've never ironed them. (Ouch!) I'm wondering if God or anyone in heaven is going to mind. I figure that it will make for one more outfit to donate to Goodwill or the Salvation Army and since some people have told me that where I'm actually going to end up is pretty 'damned' warm, I figure there's no point in bringing along any more clothes than are absolutely necessary.

But seriously, have you ever considered for yourself or do you know of anyone who was buried nude? Covered only with a white sheet and perhaps only with face and arms showing during the funeral and visitation? Novel? Interesting? Disgusting? Preverted? Demented?

I noticed how close places like Liverpool, Bolton, Manchester and Wales are to each other yet their accents are so amazingly unique and they sound great. I know communities used to move around less in the past but was has caused such contrasts in the way these people speak?

Who come over to your house and expect you not to smoke.... not while they are there .. I mean they want you to NEVER smoke in their house because they come over a lot. I have family that lives very close and they are always over here. I have respect for every nonsmoker out there. I don't smoke in or around their homes or their cars. If I am somewhere out in public, I do whatever I can to stay away from nonsmokers while I'm smoking.

Now I have just had my sister-in-law call me this morning and tell me I needed to stop smoking in my own home because it was bothering them. Does anyone think that this is going a little too far??
