In what way? They didn't predict anything, that's just a fallacy.
Their Long Count calendar rolls over to 13 Baktuns on 12-21-2012 and some people think that means it ends when it doesn't.
There's also a rare (once in 26,000 years) astronomical alignment that day between the rising sun and the Milky Way which the Maya interpreted to mean the birth of a new world age. ((NOT the end of the old one.) But that's not part of the calendar.

Personally, based on everything I've read, yes.
So many different cultures and so many different prophets all came to the same conclusion, within a 1-2 year span, that it goes beyond coincidence to me.
