I have an outline, geared to assist the "working" poor of our country- to show them how to incorporate the food banks' food, discounted items, specials, etc into nutritional meals, how to cook them and how to stay within their budgets. This program will be nothing like the shows on the Cooking Network, you will not need fancy pots or expensive condiments.

Well you have a very good idea and like most good ideas it would not make for good TV. Now if you had poor people fighting each other for food, then people would watch that. Helping and teaching, no one would watch that.

I would not watch the show because I do not watch much TV. The programming I do watch is viewed because it takes me away from my reality. However, I believe the idea is good. Unfortunately, if you want to earn money, you need to go where the money is. If you want to help people, I feel a web site would work better than a TV program. The low-end working class may not have access to a computer or the Internet; however, the people distributing the food stuff would. Wouldn't it be great to get a page of recipes with the box of food?

i so would go for it. America is so fat because they choose fast food since it's so convient. But i dont think it would work because most working families sometimes dont have the time to sit down and watch a television show based on good cooking, we live a fast paced society that most go for the cheapest and unhealthy food (example Mcodonalds). I think poor america should get more educated on why eating healthy and home prepared meals are good. Maybe if you incorparte that in your show then maybe but i dont know. I know i would be interested though

because of the fact each and all the smells intertwine while they cook dinner and scent good. it is not no longer trouble-free to make food scent good. it is extra good to make food flavor good. my pals are finished chinese language i think doubt they got here from united states of america of america yet their house is an entire pig sty. theirs crap they convey abode from artwork throughout their front backyard and lower back backyard and it is all broken issues like tables, refrigerator, washing machines,etc.. yet each and every so often while they're cooking it smells superb. yet i distinctly doubt it tastes that good. why? in simple terms walk infront of their door step and you will comprehend why theirs craps everywhere inclusive of lifeless flowers/animals decaying like fish. Im specific they do no longer save at a real food market the two however the community china city and anybody in my state is familiar with the china city isn;t surprising for groceries because it is been favourite to hold rats and it is not even that tasty. that being mentioned do no longer permit the smells fool you.

I think that is a wonderful idea. I am not poor but I would watch it to get some ideas on how to make stuff without spending as much.

That is a sweet idea!

You are gonna have to launch it via video podcast, though because TV is written on the backs of advertisers and that wouldn't help them much.

Email me a link when you get it up!

Sure. You can teach people living on a tight budget how to eat healthy instead of going to some nasty fast food joint.

Not only would I watch it, but I would recommend it to others. I think that everyone is watching their money nowdays, what with gas prices and everything else going up so fast.
