she was willing to let God use her to bring forth the Christ however she was still just a normal, blessed woman.
Act 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
there for she was in the upper room
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
She was still there for this so she needed to be born again just like everyone else, there for she did just as was stated
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

Little, if any, theological influence/importance during the writing of the NT; there was a role of "intermediary" or "intercessory" after the "Dark Ages" in Europe, as seen by the iconography, prayers,
devotion and construction- "Notre Dame", Five Holy Fathers, Marianist, etc etc etc

Well she was kind of the liaison between the "earthly" Jesus and the "godchild" Jesus. Remember it is said that Jesus actually had no natural father on earth, but had a mother, who was a genuine earth-inhabitant.

Yes, she gave birth to Jesus, but she also RAISED him. She was a wonderful woman, and did a fantastic job at raising the Messiah!

By her faith and obedience to God, humanity was saved. She was preserved from original sin at her conception to be the mother of God, the new ark of the covenent. Keep in mind that when the angel Gabriel appeared to her and announced that she was to be the mother of our savior, he didn't order her or command her to do this - he asked her. She had to consent. She was not forced to do this. And by her wonderful faith and obedience, our savior was born and we all were redeemed.

She gave birth to Jesus... but that's it. She can't save you. Only Jesus can.
