I don't see him as God like you people or else I would follow him. To me he's just another L. Ron Hubbard. You're asking me to have blind faith but I might as well have blind faith in some other cult.

Just because I acknowledge Jesus existed doesn't mean I worship him. L. Ron Hubbard exists, why not worship him?

why believe in anything? there is sill no proof of evolution, even though it is taught in most school, it is still just a theory.
very few christian have a blind faith in Jesus, there is a spiritual void that is filled when we accept Jesus.
if you are happy as you are then why worry, be happy. but if you are truly seeking a truth then ask Jesus to make himself known to you as your personal savior.

Jesus is the ONLY person to have be Resurrected to life after His very public death. More than 500 people actually saw him in the month or so after His crucifiction. Roman historians, who certainly have no reason to pass along fictions as history report Jesus was seen performing Miracles AFTER the crucifiction., Look for the histories of Tacitus, Pliny the Younger and also Eusebius.
The Roman Army had standing orders that any Sentry that abandoned his post or fell asleep on watch would be executed, perhaps his unit would even be decimated, meaning every tenth man in it would be executed as well. Yet, the Roman soldiers ran away in fear when supposed to guard the huge stone sealing the tomb of Jesus.
Jesus' life and death were foretold many hundreds of years before He ever was born. ALL of those prophecies came to pass in exact detail.
The brother of Jesus, James was skeptical of his brother throughout the life of Jesus. Can you imagine how you would react if your sibling claimed to be GOD? After the cricifiction James preached the divinity of his own brother even to the point of being martyred. Know anybody else who ever knowingly died for what he knew was a lie? What evidence would it take for you to be convinced your own sibling was actually GOD? Maybe seeing your brother crucified and killed but then for a month afterwards seeing Him preach, teach, and perform miracles.
Jesus prophesied that all of Jerusalem, a city that had existed for a thousand years, would be destroyed in the lifetime of his contemporaries. Then within 70 years it was destroyed.
Christianinty DOES NOT ask us to have blind faith, but faith in evidence. Think of how cowardly the apostles were in the life of Jesus. Yet after His resurrection they all went on to give their lives as martyrs to continue professing that Jesus was actually God. How do you expalin such a radical change in their personalites?
If you continue investigating you will find more evidence that Jesus was who He said He was/is.

Faith in one's own self is far more important than faith in some "being" that I myself am not sure even really walked the earth. You have a super point there....why do people choose to worship god. Maybe they know no other way, or possibly they have to look towards something else to lift their spirit in a time of need. Religion is a serious topic but it will never make sense to me so I simply choose to stay out of it all. No one knows for sure how life was first created, and I think that will forever remain a mystery until time itself ceases and things start all over again.

People who have faith in Jesus are happy people, in fact they are stoned in an hysterical trance.
If you have faith in Jesus, you are dead certain you are going to be forgiven. What does that mean in your everyday life? It means you can be as cruel, sneaky, gossipy and vicsious as you want and just forget about it, someone else is paying the credit card.
Faith in Jesus will also give you a fairy tale that will keep you from crying and screaming with fear and rage when death approaches you. And even if you betray yourself and get frightened anyway, Jesus will let you get away with that kind of treachery.

St. Thomas was a doubter also, Alot of people do not believe what they cannot see, St. Thomas had to be shown.Here is a question for you, Can you see the wind?The answer is no. But you can feel the wind can't you? Look at the beauty around you! The sun, the moon the stars etc. Look at the human body and birth!

#1) Jesus didn't do drugs.
#2) The Romans did think it was a cult.
However, it was the cult of human values. Human rights got in the way of what the Jews, Romans, Muslims, etc. wanted. This makes Christianity different from all other religions durng that period. It defeats slavery, communism, baby killers, drug lords, they have the first shall be last, saints all that good stuff.

I would say you ought to have faith in Jesus, because it is His grace and His love that redeems you from your own sin. L Ron Hubbard couldl not do that. Only God could. I would say that you ought to have faith in Him because He loves you.
However, you have a mind of your own, make your own decision.

Oh please don't use the 'blind faith' and 'Xty is a cult' card. Do some homework before making accusations left and right. check your definitions. go to rzim.org. read some pro-Xty books along w/ ur anti-Xty books.

Jesus is the Lord Your God's Son. God is the maker of Heaven and of Earth. You should follow Jesus because he loves you so much He died on the cross for you.
