Distasteful but necessary - had to dispose of amputated limbs when I worked as a hospital porter. Apart from that in terms of job satisfaction it was one of the best jobs I've had.

pluck feathers of a still warm chicken who had just had it's neck broken. i was on a kibbutz and we asked for a couple of chickens for a bbq. we didn't realise we had to pick a couple from a few hundred and slaughter them. i didn't do the killing therefore i had to pluck. by the way i am a vegetarian.
