If he was travelling at a relativistic velocity (ie very near the speed of light) then creation would have appeared to take only 7 days. In fact, it would actually have taken 7 days, in his frame of reference. Simultaneously, it would have taken 15 billion years to someone in a different frame of reference, such as the one we are currently in.
Thanks to the relativistic nature of time, it's possible that there isn't even a contradiction between what astrophycists have found to be the scientific age of the universe, and what Creationists believe. I don't recall the Bible saying anything about God's velocity relative to a stationary observer on earth; therefore this hypothesis could solve the whole debate!
