Apart from Her Serene Highness, Princess Grace of Monaco, Rita Hayworth married Prince Aly Khan in 1949 and gave birth to Princess Yasmin Aga Khan. The marriage collapsed in 1952 and she went back to making movies.

most princes marry wealthy women with titles of some kind from the same country.
it isnt like old times where a prince had to marry a princess. that would be cool if it was like that. but royal families nowdays have no real power

Yes of course you can. Grace Kelly did it with Prince Ranier of Monarco. The King of Jordan's (Hussien) wife was also an American.
