because i keep getting these weird dreams that im on a ship and it starts to sink in my most recent dream i saw the label on it reading s.s. liverpool titanic could this mean some thing? Every time i wake up frome the dream im drenched in sweat i dont know how muchmore of this i can take. please be serious about this.

first of all god, is a surname of the great FSM. And the answer to your question is yes he can do both...you see, as it states in the holy gospel of the FSM, When you ask him to make a rock so big he can't lift it, he pretends he does so...then, when you say 'HA! you are not the almight b/c you can't lift that rock he says... 'oooooh, really.' and then he grabs it with his noodly appendages and throws it at you and kills you which makes you wish you would have never asked that question...THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR ASKIN QUESTIONS ATHEISTS!

It bans all abortion except when the mother's life is in danger.


That INCLUDES a ban on a woman seeking an abortion for a pregnancy resulting from rape.

Even if you're pro-life, isn't that a little extreme?

Doesn't that effectively give power to rapists?
If a rapist forcibly impregnates a woman, she has no other choice than to have the rapist's baby.


A raped woman isn't given the choice to say no to the intercourse, and now the state wants to come along and not give her a choice to say no to being a rapist's baby factory?

Personally, in that situation, I think a moral argument can be made that the state is guilty along with the rapist, as an accessory-after-the-fact. The would have teamed up to rob a woman of her most personal liberties.

How can anyone support such a thing???

Or dio their religions forbid it? The president of Iran is now telling School kids and university students to "Report" any teachers who teach anything that contradicts the president and teh Supreme Islamic Council. When you generally think of chivalry you think of the brave knight coming to rescue the damsel in distress...well at least a form of that. We were discussing modern day chivalry and ancient chivalry in class today and also talking about feminism.

I think chivalry is generally thought of as a rule of thumb for men, or at least it use to be. Nowadays you don't see it anymore. There is a difference between being chivalrous and being overbearing. Some feminists I know get mad if a man opens a door for them, or offers to pay for dinner. I however would be fine with that because I would open the door for the man also and offer to pay.

Another thing I've noticed....while on a bus (for example), the older men are more likely to give up their seat for a lady that comes on the bus while the younger generation tends to watch them standing there hanging on for dear life.

So, is chivalry dead? And if you don't think it is do you wish it was?
