Consider the source for pity sakes. The president of Iran? For crying out loud, he is an idiot. A real major idiot. Who listens to idiots?

It depends on which religious fundamentalists came into power.
If they were Southern Baptists, there'd be a major change in our society, and maybe many forms of education would seem trivial. There'd definately be a relapse of heavy racial conflict.
Most other Christian groups would settle simply for bringing the Bible back into school. It'd be like Anglican England under a democratic rule. We'd all be taught Christianity, and we'd go ahead and learn whatever the heck else is possible to be learned, if it was our desire.
I don't know about many other religions, but I think that the Jewish people are pretty lax these days, and the Orthodox ones don't usually consider non-jews to even be capable of practicing their religion- so that case would make the religion a nearly irrelevant situation.
I think the Hundus and Buddhists have their own personal beliefs and none of them against education in particular.
No... I'd say that only Muslims believe wholeheartedly in that their religion is a naturally oppressing force.
Of course ANYBODY can probably use ANY religion to oppress people, but those people aren't religious leaders. They're politicians.

Some great minds at Harvard University have been involved in terrortistic activities they call Jihad. Not because you saw them wearing pajama looking clad you could already judge them as uneducated. Many people who run to the mountains and declared war on the establishments are oftenly dissatisfied scholars of higher academics. If they were not educated or learned, America and other allied countries will not need to spend billions to capture or defeat their elusive enemies which look so hard for our top notch military tacticians.

Sure. I personally know several dozen Christian fundamentalists who graduated from Ivy League universities. It's pretty hard to do that without developing an educated mind. For that matter, I know at least one who converted at the age of 60 or so after a lifetime of teaching at such an institution (Shades of CS Lewis! Now *there's* a great mind for you...)

Is it really that bad, Nazism that is, they believed and look at their accomplishments not just there destructive side, if the people in this country stuck together gas would be $1.00 a gallon, so no they don't need it in this country now, but when the ball burst and the hungry come a calling, they may need it
