Matthew 24:13 he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.

Revelation 22:18-19

REV 22:18) I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19 )and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

I love you. Thank you so much. Didn't understand the question though. But with one question I recently posted no one really got it. I think because they are still in the wrong mindset of what God really wants from us. I totaly agree with Revelations. You made my day.

Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

I am very sorry to have to say this. There is no such thing as once saved always saved. The above verse doesn't say once saved always saved, it says that if we endure to the end the same shall be saved. When you get to the end and make it in, only then can one say they are saved. Until we get there we are not saved and can lose out on Jesus, if we are not mindful. The Bible is filled with lots of people who started out so called saved and ended up lost.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses.

29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge his people." 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

I guess I missed the first part of this question. Are you supporting "first saved, always saved?" or are you against it? Matthew 24:13 helps to dispute it as it shows a person must have endurance to be saved. If he fails to endure, ie remain faithful, he will not be saved.

well if it is once saved always saved then I guess even tough I am a Pagan I would go to heaven if jesus does is real because I have been saved and I have also been bapatised.

So the question is if the people who had been saved and converted are they still saved in the end. If that is not right then everytime a chrisitan sins do they have to saved again?

Interesting question

I don't believe in any way that once saved always saved.
Are you telling me that I could be saved, spend 20 years worshiping God and living by his word, then all of a sudden turn around fall under Satan's power and kill my family.
Are you telling me that if Jesus was to come back 10 minutes later, that I would still go to Heaven because I was saved 20 years before?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
Satan doesn't just give up on us once we are saved. Why not? Because he can still get us. I mean...THINK about it!!
If once we were saved Satan would have no control over us, then why would we still feel tempted to do things we shouldn't. And why would we still continue to sin (however, hopefully not as big as I mentioned earlier) because Satan is the root of all sin...isn't he?
Why would he bother if what he convinced us to do was worthless to him? Because...IT'S NOT WORTHLESS to him. He can still bring us down, and if he does, and we don't repent again...we will GO TO HELL!!
Come on people...think about this.
I think that people are just misreading the Bible there to reassure themselves so they feel safe.
Me...I'm terrified that I may not make it into Heaven, but you know what...that makes me try all that much harder!! Those of you who think that "once saved, always saved" you may not be as likely to watch out for sin. And that worries me for all of you!!

Donny neglects to take into account free will, which can effectively negate every single scripture verse he cites.

What every one of us must do is choose to cooperate with God's grace, and continue doing so until the moment we die.

If this is considered salvation by works, than salvation by works it must be.

I personally see it as salvation by grace, through faith and works.

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." Matthew 10:27,28, & 29.
