I've been working at this terrible terrible job. I was happy 22 year old boy full of ambitions and ideas. Now I'm a bitter 24 year old made to believe this has to be my life coming to this stupid cubicle everyday for the rest of my life. Today I quit, I'm becoming a teacher, I start the school year this month, I'll make a little less, but I'll be doing full-time the thing I've been doing part-time since I was 18, and I love it. I would have done it sooner, but my mother and sister kept calling me stupid everytime I even mentioned it. I decided not to listen to them, fortunately my dad supports me.
My best friend recently quit his good paying job also. He told me he hasn't made any money yet with his new business he opened, but he's happy. His only problem was his mom who keeps telling him how stupid he was for quitting, but he's happy his dad supports him.

Why are the women so mean? we are not married, we don't have children, why do they want us to stay in jobs we despise?

I know this guy that all his female friends are in love with him in some way. He's not extremely handsome, but he has a beautiful mind. He just seems to know what to say. And most of all he listens. He's not even married; which I don't understand. I even find myself drawn to him. Which baffles me. Is there a name for men like this.

the back of their shoes as they walk ? They walk like apes. What's up with that ? And I cant tell you how many times I have seen one of them holding their child in a squatted position in the street so they can go to the bathroom at the curb. Really, do they have any manners ?

It seems that they spend a lot of time trying to disprove God and Jesus-Christ. I respond because that is what the Lord has instructed me to do, but they have no commision. Generally they are either attacking or defensive either calling names or using abusive language instead of defending their beliefs or positions. according to them we are mindless fanatics so why bother?

I don't understand this at all. I have spent a lot of time in England (London especially) and people are not shy necessarily. Shyness is uncommon everywhere, being shy is not average in any culture. Why do people think Americans are the most confident people in the world? Why do people thin k the English are shy? Does anyone get this?

i hope most people know what the meaning is behind the word assume but if you dont let me break it down nicely for ya "*** out of u and me" thats what assume means and i seem to see a lot of christians do that assuming crap.

heres a fact for christians as well. you do not know if the bible is true or not you only "assume" its factual.

christians only "assume" that jesus and god are one in the same when they are not.

christians only "assume" that if they repent they go to heaven which isnt even true anyways not by far anyways.

christians also "assume" if you are not a christian you burn in a place that doesnt exist in anyone elses religion.

christians love the word "assume" it seems since they all do that all the time and the liberals are no better when they assume they are right too at times.

reality of the matter is no one really knows the worlds history anymore

I am deeply saddened over the death of the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. When thinking about him, I imagine him being transformed into a crocodile god and taking his place in the heavens. Irwin really was a mythological character, with his over-the-top antics, animal-like agility and seeming immortality. What do you think Joseph Campbell, the mythologist, would have to say on Croc Hunter's death, or the death of mythological public figures in gerenal?

I have to give a talk to my department. I have gained loads of weight...and preparation time will be 1 one day. I always find it hard to look up for long periods especially at the marking tutors eyes.
