That's the fascinating thing about women. They can hug and kiss and play and preen together and no one thinks a thing about it, something the guys can't do. You said, "bi" so make sure that mom knows you like guys, the girls you like get a pass--unless they look like lesbians, then you are under suspicion. Keep your girl friends friends, at least when around your mother. Watch your talk. Don't talk about girlfriends the way you talk about boyfriends.

Why are you trying to keep it from her? Sexual orientation is a tricky subject. But if you suspect you are gay, bi or lesbian, it's best to get it out in the open . You should talk to your Mother about it. Sometimes being attracted to the same sex, doesn't always mean your gay. How react to that attraction may determine that. I believe that it is a chosen perversion. No one is born gay. They have yet to find a gay gene. And I doubt they ever will. Ask yourself do you want to be gay. The answer will usually be no. That comes with to much baggage. Will I fit in. Talk to your parents !.

Weeelll - this part of you is entirely your business and has nothing to do with her or anyone else. You are the best judge of if/when you can tell her this part of you. The fact that you are desperate to hide it now does not speak well for her. Would she understand more than you give her credit for. Can you tell another family member and have them break it to her gently so she has time to adapt to it before confronting you. (Gives her time to understand and think before she speaks). Take you time and do this your way. Your sexuality is your business and no one has a right to intrude.

Alot of good, educated and well thought out answeres here.

tough question to call.

None of us know your exact situation so none of us can really say for sure.

Keep in mind alot of what people have already said....she's your mom and mom's know alot more than what you give them credit for.

Also, she is your mother and there is a good chance she may be shocked initially but, if she is truely a good mom, then she will love you regardless of your sexual orientation.

jlovesm,
WHOA! This is just the opposite question to "I want to tell my parents that I'm Gay," or "How do I come out to my parents?"

Just don't bring it up! What's the problem? Are you that close? It's possiblr that she knows already if you are, she might be holding back in case you "straighten out."

You gave us no information or background, so that's the best I can do.

Well, if you and your girlfriends do not fool around in front of your mom, she might think that was just your bestfriend...Take the fooling around in your room and lock the door...Or just simply tell your mom.
