There's a legend that if you want to know if a vampire has walked down a path you bury a dead frog in a box next to the path. If the vamp walks over it the frog will come back to life.
Don't know if that helps, but hey, it's cool trivia anyway!!

You really don't want to find anyone who seriously believes they are a vampire. I knew someone in my high school who thought they were a vampire, crazy as a bat out hell.

there are actual vampires out there but vampirism isn't at all like the way movies and t.v. shows depict them. just as witches are real but not the way they are depicted in movies and tv shows. Do your research if you really wish to. A great place to look would be a metaphysical shop and you can go to yahoo yellow pages for the nearest one to you or go to www.witchvox.com and you'll find a listening of shops in your area or even people to talk to.

You can try Wikipedia, it is a great site for all sorts of info. If your asking-for real, that you are trying to actually find a Vampire, I wish you luck. They are a Sly bunch! Good-Luck either way.

I was watching PBS last night. They showed people in South America drawing blood from a live bat to serve in a small wine glass as an accompaniment to bat soup.
It was very disturbing

There are no real vampires.
It was a legend by Romanian people who saw albinos sucking sheep's blood at night to get their iron. The tales grew into blood sucking soul stealers to frighten travelers and children.
There are two types of modern vampires-
-Bats - They live in South America and feed on the blood of mammals - usually cows.
-People who claim to be "vampires". These people like to dress up and play games. Some drink blood and file their canine teeth down to resemble fangs. But they are just regular people who identify with the Romanian legend's modern day interpretation of vampires (Usually Brahm Stroker's Dracula or other Hollywood movie vampires).

First off why would you be looking for a vampire. Is it because you think that they are cool and sexy. If so you should try reading up on them at your local library. You really have no idea as to what you are asking for. For if you did you would not be looking for a pile of rotting flesh, That you can smell 3 miles off. They are not cool, they are the true meaning of EVIL, and if the smell of rotting flesh don't kill you, rest assured that they will. I have a question for you how do you expect someone to smell after sleeping in dirt for who knows how long, also running water can destroy them. and only in the movies are they cute. So please be careful of what you ask for, for you just might get it......................
