I know that a lot of christians get sort of stuck on this topic of spiritual warfare and that when anything happens basically they want to cast out demons. Is this wrong what do you think. Is it necessary to an effective christian?

she says that if I were ever to get a tattoo or piercing (other than my lower earlobes) or dyed my hair a funky color, she would want to me to live somewhere else and never visit her. Do you think this is right? She says that people who do those things have "problems" which I think is total bull. But she can't seem to accept. What do you think?
