Afterall - some are a little tedious. Perhaps the guy gets a bit tired of hearing how great he is - lets face it - He knows, He is God afterall. And then there are the tunes - some are a bit woeful and depressing.

God is really fed up with all those insipid "Praise Songs" what God really likes is the blues. You don't think so? Why do all those Blues musicians die so young? God wants his own band.

Dust My Broom
(Elmore James)
I'm gettin' up early mornin'
I believe I'll dust my broom
I'm gettin' up early mornin'
I believe I'll dust my broom
The gal I love
But my friend can have my room

The woman I love, woman that I loved
Woman I loved, took her from my best friend
But he got lucky, stoled her back again
And he got lucky, stoled her back again

Artist: Robert Johnson Lyrics
Song: Cross Road Blues Lyrics
I went to the crossroad, fell down on my knees
I went to the crossroad, fell down on my knees
Asked the Lord above "Have mercy, now save poor Bob, if you please"

Isn't that better than some of the crap you hear on the Christian stations?

Check in the Bible to see how often God commands people to magnify, glorify and praise Him. The purpose of worship is to strengthen the God-child relationship with His believers. As for woeful and depressing, do you realize that people who are dealing with problems in their lives don't want to be bothered with cheery, sappy music?

If he's like me, he doesn't want to hear them at all. I've heard some people say they want to sing his praises forever. Their IQ's are not very high. Tom Sawyer told his Aunt Polly that he didn't want to sit on a cloud playing a harp forever, and I agree with Tom. If a god wants to hear imbeciles praise him in song forever, he is obviously dumber than they are. Isn't that just what we all need, a retarded god?

When we praise God; in our hearts, with our lips, in song, hymns, praise, prayer, it is a sweet perfume to Him. He will never be tired of hearing the voices of the ones who love Him, ever.

He is the King of Kings, he loves us so much, and we return this love by singing about his love, and greatness. God doesn't get tired of love, he will get tired of rejection and denial and return to take those of us who have given our hearts to him. I hope you will be ready for his return, he will come as a thief in the night. You can read "WARNING! REVELATION IS ABOUT TO BE FULFILLED", By: Larry W. Wilson, I got it free off the net. God Bless!!

I reckon God gets fed up all the time with many things, however he must get more Joy because he could destroy us at any moment and chooses not to.

nope!
the Bible tells us to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord". I hate to tell you but God has angels that their ONLY job is to praise him, forever. the Bible also tells us that His children will be able to sing a song that even the angels can't sing... we will be able to sing about redemption, and faith.. something that the angels know nothing about.
