There is a strange albeit subliminal message here: Be it an aristocrat, an angel, a royalty or someone prim and proper and tight upper lipped - it is British.
German generals in world war movies are with British accent.
In movies, gays are with British accent.
In TVs, movies and other advertisements when they sell something that is expensive, to portray that the product is highly sophisticated then it has to be with British accent.
Why is that? I would like to know this too.... Is there a silent movement afoot for decades that all things British are the best and all others are just followers?
We sheepishly admit to this? I cringe due to such inaccurage representation because people of all walks of life with various accents are just as equal in all things nice that this life has to offer.

really ? how interesting ? but here in India they use Indian accent. they actually do not know any bad words at all .do American angels have wings & magic wand with a star at the tip? indian angels always wear white dress with a white flowery hair band. ( i think they call it tiara. i heard an angel talking to another about her hair bands.)
