There's not many problems that can't be solved in the correct manner. A problem that is seen as a miserable condition is within ones self and only can be dealt with through common sense and good judgment. Many people are dogmatic that their way is the only way. They don't give thought or consideration to others "problems or miserable conditiions" and therefore can not visualize anything beyond their nose or zone! Their way is the only way, so they think. They might be surprised to find out that thought, feelings, and ideas of others are just as important, maybe more so in some cases, than their own self centered way of dealing with "miserable conditions" that they created mostly by their own standings, which is always correct in their provincial world........peace and love to all, even those who turn away........

A basicaly menaingless statement. A "problem" is a "difficulty" and a difficulty is a problem and a "miserable conditions" is both.
some problems can not be solved and some difficulties an not be overcome. But most can,or, cam at least be modified or moderated. But, only if faced and delt with.
The "mind in it's natural state." is a meaningless phrase. best left to the contimplation of those who have more interest in the mindless state of the happy weed.

It's not bad, although I think he's labeling such thinking as a problem. Kind of ironic.
How about a rephrasing:
Leave your mind in its natural, peaceful state. When you sense a problem arising, recognize that it comes from the unawakened part of you that clings to the old ways. It needs your calming words, your encouragement to let go. And in you there is always that calming capacity.
By allowing your quieter self to direct your thoughts, you will retain more and more the natural, peaceful state of mind. The practice will leave you open to the calm and compassion that lie dormant, waiting for your invitation to rise up.

Yes, but NLP is just as effective, even though it is the art of manipulation. So we have difficulties and miserable conditions, not problems, same difference, but 'Leave the mind in its natural, undisturbed state' is ok, because our natural state is happiness believe it or not.

The natural undisturbed state of mind is open to evil thoughts as well as good ones. I prefer this method:
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things."

I like to turn on praise & worship songs and enter into God's Holy presence with praise and worship...it lifts my soul and casts all care to the wind...Awesoe Music like Rich Mullins.
Try worship...it will change your life to worship the Creator.
