Just by letting him know about the inquisitions, wars, witch burnings and pedophilia that's been done by those who claim to follow his teachings. By comparison, crucifixion was kindness.

Well - you have got to think of the TV audience nowadays. Perhaps murder would be a bit extreme for modern day sensitivities - how about being betrayed by an inmate and voted first out of the Big Brother House!

Never thought about this question before. . .but are you sure it would be his Second Coming? What if the spirit that was Jesus Christ existed in other beings, just using different names? Like Abraham Lincoln. . .Martin Luther King. . . JFK. . .and other very forward, community, integrative thinkers who were before their day but murdered because there were those who were against their ideals of happiness, justice and the pursuit of liberty for all. . .
