I see this question asked a lot towards christians, and without getting angry nor offended they say yes but they continue with their faith.

I ask myself if this ever happens to atheists. That may be the reason why some turn agnostic.

I have never seen an atheist here admitting that.

I now this is a weird question but when anybody tries to prove how existence got started they always blurt out. "what do you think earth came from a cracker jack box. they makes it the most mindlessly slung around theory ever. so I ask you what if it where true. god got done making the universe instead of first saying let there be light he said."let there be snacks". also since theres no good prises in a cracker jack box. whats that say about earth. lastly what would the old testament read like if this where true.

so in conclusion watch what your making into a scientific theory okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

You pick up a newly published edition of a classic of children's literature out of a selection: Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Three Musketeers, Heidi, Pinocchio, Bambi. As you turn the pages, you find the original dialogue has been changed and references to God and Jesus has been added throughout the book.

My darkest was the loss of a child before birth. It was a time of deep trial. My brightest moments were seeing my sons born safely and then Baptized and Confirmed.

Really with all the assistance that is available for people (social security, food stamps, public housing, etc....) do you reallly think there is an excuse for people to be homeless. And I'm not just talking about in big cities but all over the US in small communities as well. I'm not saying I don't feel sad for people with out homes but is it really necessery? Don't you think there are so many more options now a days?

1. Was it as the Armianists says "to provide an opportunity for salvation for everyone but not actually save anyone"?
or
2. Was it as the Calvinists says "to actually save everyone for whom he died?"

My sister asked for her boyfriends e-mail address. He told her that he would have to give her his sister's address because his changes every two days or so. This has me curious. Why would a seemingly harmless young guy from Jordan, going to college in the U.S. need to change his e-mail address so often?

There is so much more to than just saying that you believe in Jesus or that you read the Bible and go to Church, or maybe you don't go to church. But exactly what does it mean when you say that you personally are a "true Chistian?"

So As Not To Tempt Angels?

Is THAT why Muslim women cover themselves? Or is it because they are subserviant?

Another New Testament verse may have bearing on Genesis 6. In I Corinthians 11:10, Paul instructs that a woman should cover her head as a sign of subjection to her husband, and also "because of the angels." This observation has intrigued commentators through the years. Why this sudden reference to angels? Could it be a reference to what happened in Genesis 6 where angels succumbed to the inducements and physical charm of the women of Earth? Obviously, Paul believed that an uncovered woman was a temptation even to angels. William Barclay mentions an old rabbinic tradition which alleges that it was the beauty of the women's long hair that attracted and tempted the angels in Genesis. (6)

Now I know the creationist lobby make a lot of noise on Yahoo Answers.

Are they causing more noise than elsewhere? Are they really that numerous and vocal in the States?

In Europe you'd he very hard pressed to find many who believed in creationism or intelligent design. There's Jehovah's witnesses, and, er, that's about it. Even the Pope believes in evolution! You might as well try and find someone who believes in a pre-Copernican view of astronomy.

ok so heres my question for you: if you are atheist...that means you are living for this world. dont worry ive heard it all..."build more hospitals and retirement homes and less churches" you claim your good people and even spiritual... thats good for you. im catholic and proud and that wont change. but heres my big question. why do you bother and try to be good and "spiritual? i mean you are living for this life. you deny God and christ and soo whats the point of you being a good person if you believe that in the end of your life...no one will judge you or there isnt an afterlife?? theres no need for you to be spiritual if you dont believe in God ?? im just honestly asking so just let me know what you think. thanks and God bless.

The family you get is the family you have from God who in the first place gave you to have your WHOLE lifetime until your death. Everyone of us has a soulmate already ordained by God before all of us were born. Hey ALL of our days was ordained before one of them to be { Psalm 139 : 16 }. I know that in my heart that my husband was the man I was SUPPOSE to love & marry. Like they said God gives the best to those who leaves the choice to him. It is so sad that my husband { Paul Heinz }made a decision to not want the lifetime wife God already picked out for him anymore so 5 years ago he jump over the fence with my x best friend.Well one day he will see truly what he throw away.It is in God's hands so I'm going on forward with my children 2 out from 3.Hey that is good because my 2 children & I are very close , thanks to God we are.God brings the good out from any bad situation. The losers here are my husband & my older child but they are blind to the real truth. We are prayering for them.
