Gege, they don't realize what they are doing is actually making more and more people turn away from the church. They do not just do what they do in the LGBT section. They do it in every section on this site that has anything to do with human behavior. The Internet has opened up a whole new world for them to preach their beliefs.

This "battle" you find yourself engaged in should only be important to them.
The truth... and the reason I can claim some sanity in this forum when they repeatedly post the same old crap... day after day... is that it doesn't matter what they think. It doesn't matter if they want to think that god is some way that I don't.
I know that they do not know any more about god than I do. I've read the same books they have. I know that the more I learn about God, the more I realize how much I DON'T know about God. I believe that if all Christians actually searched for God, instead of just saying the "salvation prayer" and go to church regularly, they would find the same thing. Jesus said, "Seek, and ye shall find." It is somewhat lazy to rely on "just" what people wrote about God thousands of years ago.
It is VERY simple, my friend. Nothing you can say or do will change those people's minds about homosexuality. If and when their minds change, it will be because somebody they know and care about more than they care about their irrational hatred let's them know they are gay.
Don't worry about them. They either will change in their hearts and minds or they won't. We can't make that happen for them.
So we should focus on making our own lives as good as we can... in spite of their beliefs. The best way to prove them wrong is with your life.

wow what a profound statment, well for being the most open people out there you can certainly be closemionded. You have the right to express yor views just as much as the next person, if you dont like it ignore it, though the mere fact your stating this says something about your character, that you are a thoephobe (fear of God) or that you are afraid of what god thinks about you. I will grant you that many christians need to reread their bible and do a little theology, you know judge not lest ye be judged and what not. To determine someone is homophobic just because they do not like gays is completely irational and illogical, I hate Dogs yet I am not afraid of them, Might I suggest a logic course for you. Okay, so you are 14. And you don't want to hear about Jesus. That's okay. I don't remember talking to you about Him. So if I offended you by talking to someone else of this part of !Answers, you were butting in. It wasn't meant for you. But I have a dilemma. The fundies are acting like they are the only ones that God loves. I am Bi and I know the Bible better than many of them. I say that the Bible says differently. So knowing this; I choose to stick around and tell people the truth of it.

So much anger, if you really did not care you would not have bothered to write such a lengthy rambling of disgust for people who worship God. I would say it actually does bother you, if you are happy with yourself great but from what I read I would say your not as happy as you are pretending to be.
