My sister asked for her boyfriends e-mail address. He told her that he would have to give her his sister's address because his changes every two days or so. This has me curious. Why would a seemingly harmless young guy from Jordan,going to college in the U.S. need to change his e-mail address so often?

Most likely, he's supplimenting his income with a massive spamming campaign. Some college students have to do all sorts of sleazy things like this to make money. Why he doesn't have a yahoo account or something like that is a bit of a mystery to me, but since he's from Jordan, he might not know as much about how the internet works over here.
Or maybe he's a terrorist, but I'd imagine that if he goes around telling people about his changing email address he'd get suspicious government agencies keeping tabs on him... so he must not be a very good one if he is.

Well, if he had his own mail server, and did not have a permanent IP address, it might be the case, that the IP address changes every couple of day.
Still, I surprise he does not have a yahoo, hot mail, or google email address to provide to someone like your sister.
