Does God see into our souls and recognize if we are with him or not? I believe in God but i do not go to church. I pray and ask God for forgiveness, everyday, by myself, alone. I call on God with all the honesty that i can muster. Is this enough or am i still going to hell? To be honest with all of you i think it is enough because he has taken care of me and to many things have happen in my life that tell me i am on the right track. I would still like your imput though. Is personal faith enough to get into heaven?

I am a Christian, and I believe that God has the greatest sense of humor! Just look at the strange and beautiful creatures around us, even a frog is funny-looking if you think about it. I just think there are many Christians who need to laugh more and see that God loves laughter.

Read Genesis 21:6, Ecclesiastes 3:4

I am a firm believer that God is so much more about laughter, love, song, and praise than He is about telling our fellow humans what they may be doing wrong. We are created for Love! Just trying to spread it here ♥

I recently had a conversation with someone who lives on my dorm floor, and she asked me what religion I followed, and I told her I didn't follow a religion. I believe religion is a myth, but that's my own opinion. I expressed that I did have faith, and that I believed in God, I just didn't feel like I had to follow a religion to believe in Him. She told me I was going to burn in hell, and that I wasn't spiritual enough to talk to her anymore. Can anyone explain this?

With many of the other religions in the world, who is to say that Christianity is the only way? What about Buddists, Jews, or Catholics? Why is Christianity deemed the only way to get into Heaven, if so many other religions believe in the same God, but call their religion a different name?

I know some thoughts are considered sins. But are Christians free to imagine that God doesn't exist? Would that displease God, so they are afraid to consider? I took a minute about a week ago to consider what if God does exist...it was fun.

Thanks to JimDarwin "Same with anyone with their book. Thats the problem with persons who believe a book is the word of god, a critical analysis is lacking."

Can one actually be discerning of what they think is "God's opinion"? I see a lot of answers where the person seems to be sucking up to God. Christians are often unwilling to consider hypothetical situations. Maybe because they are afraid God is watching and their thoughts would displease him? Are believers "free" to think?
