It is indeed explained in the Bible.
Cain's wife is also the daughter of Adam and Eve.
Cain, Abel and Seth were named because they play vital role. The remaining children was unnamed but were being mentioned.
Genesis 5:4
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and DAUGHTERS:

I have often wondered about the same thing myself..........it really dosen't make a lot of sense, it didn't mention anywhere in the bible about cane or able marrying and having children and if they did marry who was there for them to marry.........the only women around was eve their own mother and that would just be sick if they reproduce with her.............nor does it mention anywhere in the bible about adam and eve having anymore children so how could cane or able marry their sister if they didn't have any!!!!!!If incest was right and acceptable back in the bible days though why is it so unacceptable now................what was right back in the beginning should still be right today!!!!!I am sorry i can't give you an answer to your question because i can't or never will understand where everyone came from it's a mystery like many other things in the bible!!!!!!!!

Not everything is explained in detail in the bible. It is not a complete history. It is only the history of the chosen ones and a few others that were important in the growth and development of the chosen ones.
The lineages written follow the line of the Messiah (Jesus Christ)
But the bible does record that Adam and Eve had many other sons and daughters over the next 800 years. That makes for a lot of kids.
Secular writings in Jewish history do record the names of Cain and Seths wives. It is written in there that they took their sisters as wives. I do not want to steer you wrong, but if I can remember correctly, the name of the Jewish writing is Jubilee.

Adam and Eve had many other children (Adam lived for over 900 year, Eve was probably about the same - the Bible does not say).
They were permitted to marry siblings and close relatives for several hundred year, the gene pool was perfect then so it was safe.

They obviously had other sons and daughters that were not mentioned in the bible. The men married and had children with the women from the same family or tribe. It was after the population was large enough God commanded Moses incest and other unlawful sexual relations was a sin. These laws can be found in the 18th chapter in the book of Leviticus.

It's confusing huh.
Adam and Eve is our creation story - one people. There were lots of other people around. Kind of like the flood story - almost every population has the flood story. There were survivors all over the planet not just Noah and his family.

They probably married their sisters. I'm sure incest wasn't so dangerous when God first created people. Later on in the Bible it says that it is wrong. But God knew what He was doing and it all worked out because here we are!

They lived to be a few hundred years old. How many children can you have when you live to be 900? I'm sure the physical body was built back then (before degeneration) to handle having many children. If God can create everything, I'm sure God can do many other things.

from what i have gathered in my studies is there was alot of incest going on back in the day, if you go back through the old testament and read it, i mean like take the time and write it down it names who got with who and how they each had so many kids, those kids got with a cousin or an uncle and went to different lands... it is really confusing and doesn't make alot of sense, but in all actuality there are alot of things in this world that don't make sense... we just have faith, believe and accept them, and hope that everything ends up alright...
