It is a shame that black women think that all the good black men are being "taken away" and that is far from the truth. There are plenty of good black men still available that want to be with a black woman but black women believed this myth so much, they stop noticing the good brother in front of them. A black women, as well as any woman, should go for who is right for them and not because of a person's color.

Fine with me have em. I took one of the brothers no woman wanted. Why because he was fat, looked like Don King and told me he was a courier. Inside he was golden. It was nice that he made over 6 figures legally but I didn't find that out till later. Sometimes I have wished that we were all blind then this race thing would no longer be an issue. We would all have to make an effort to talk to each other and we wouldn't be sooo impressed by material things. Society has been hard on me and as I prepare my children for what they will be subjected to I tell them I am sorry there Dad is no longer on the planet to help. And to forgive and not to judge but look for love, find it and pursue it.

Because society has told the world that white women are the epitome of beauty, whether that's true or not, so members of every race wants them: Black guys, white, asian, latino... While there are MANY beautiful black women, society doesn't put them on the same general pedestal. Society even makes average looking white women into "beauty superstars". Look at movie actresses. All of the top black actresses are exceptionally beautiful (Halle Berry, Rosario Dawson, Angela Basset, Whoppie Goldberg... just kidding!). There are very few "average" looking top black actresses, but plenty of "average" white actresses who get top roles in movies (Julia Roberts, Lili Taylor, Maggie Gyllenhall, etc.) and are transformed into "beauties" by the press.
Anyway, that's just my opinion.

It's funny how the phenomenon black girl-white guy is not as hyped up as black guy-white girl, although I have seen equal number in both. That first pair is usually low key and doesn't feel the need to blast it everywhere unlike the second pair that gets tongues swagging. I always wondered why too.

Is that a theory or a real suggestion? I think that white women are attracted to black men because they make them feel that they are the world. Black men that I know treat their women much differently than white men. They respect the womans body and show her love. Black men are able to embrass emotions much easier than white men. This is a generalization btw.
So, I don't think that a lot of black women are going to want to get with white dudes just to get treated like they don't exisist. But, this is all a generalization of what I have noticed in the general populace.

That would be kinda impossible. Like saying "black guys are taking all the good white chicks". Don't you feel that if they don't want a white guy anymore, and have been accustomed to black men, you don't consider them "good" anymore? Plus, black women are not lucky enough to have a rumor that says they all have gold hiding in their pants, like the rumor about black dudes. LOL Not a racist at all, just explaining to him in ways he will understand. Peace

Unless it's kidnapping, nobody can "take" anyone. People are attracted who they are attracted to...or get with other people for their own reasons...no matter what the race, a chick or dude is with someone else because that's who they want to be with...
What's the issue? Who cares if it's same race or mixed race...if we want to be with someone, we should all be with someone we dig, who digs us back...
