Jesus was a man who passively fought and died in the war against The Kingdom of Herod which was very much like the world and the US today. He wanted a new Kingdom of Heaven here on earth that did not take everything from the people in taxes etc. He was crucified, but did not die on the cross. The nature of his wounds were awful, but would have taken a long time to cause his death.
The stories of this time had been told in the Old Testament and by word of mouth for centuries. The actual accounts of the life of Jesus were not written down for around one hundred years after his death.
One very interesting thing is that very few people know the name of the person who invented a/c electricity, one of the most important things in our life today; but everybody knows the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the son of God -- born of a virgin -- who died on a cross to save mankind. He is my savior, my Lord. He is the way, the truth and the life.
If Jesus wasn't all of these things, then why have people been willing to live and die for Him for centuries? Why hasn't His popularity fizzled out, like so many others?
Truth is Truth. Jesus is Lord.

Jesus-is everything good to me-as a Jew i was taught the opposite- he is my savior my messiah my good shepherd my best friend i adore Jesus -so he is the one i adore
