I think many people here see criticism as a purely negative thing. I thin criticism has an important role to play in debate and feedback so that we can continue to grow and adapt. If your teacher never gave you criticism would you have learned much? Hopefuly she did it in a positive manner though. I personally am not Christian and I don't agree with some of the policies of our current president. I do however consider myself very pro-America. One side of my family has been here since the revolution. Just because I might criticize some actions of my government doesn't make me anti-American. In fact, what I think is so great about America is the idea that I am free to criticize (this was expected and encouraged by our founders) and free to worship or not worship however, I like. When I criticize religion it is usually only because the religion was being bigoted, close-minded, or trying to impose its beliefs on others who don't share them.

Neither. Both America and Christianity are subject to criticism, since they are both operated by flawed human beings.

America has some problems. We have free speech so we can change things for the better. Right-wingers are like an alcoholics in denial. They do not want to acknowledge problems. As for Christians, they are always trying to force their religion on others. They lecture and preach to those who aren't interested. They force government to have religious displays and slogans, etc. They have even been known to start wars to "convert" heathens.

Neither. America has this thing called Freedom of Speech. I would fight for that right for anyone... including you, who is criticizing those who criticize others.
And I wonder why ppl seem think that those who criticize a Secular Country are always the same ppl who criticize a Religion? Heh, kinda funny to think that ppl think this is a Christian nation when we have one of the highest murder rates, rape rates, abortion rates, etc.... etc... etc... yep, this is a "Christian" nation. Can't quite complain about ppl criticizing it when facts stand out like a sore thumb.

Those who criticize Christianity, because God will remember them on Judgement day. People who criticize America are just ignorant.

A third choice: people who try to impose their beliefs on others.
Interestingly, the very nature of your question goes against one of the very precious aspects of America: the right to Free Speech.
You must be a good Christian....
