Violence is the solution for everything in Islam, even unpleasing wives (Quran 4:34).

Is there even such a thing as an "Islamic diplomat"? The phrase is of course an oxymoron.

Muslims claim to have all these "disagrements with foreign policies"...apparently violence is the only solution for any "disagreement" in Islam.

Dont give me political correctness, if you disagree, give me examples and then contrast it with some sense of scale and proportion.

Islam has always been at war, always. Its too bad very few westerners know the history of Islam, for many it feels like Islamist intolerance is some new problem. What a joke.

Quick history lesson: Since the very creation of Islam, the religion was spread by the sword. The arab islamic invasions of India were in fact, the greatest genocide of all time. Over 100 million kafir/infidel hindus were butchered in a very short time, and this was before guns!!! Islamic empires spread and ruled for 800 years. Jihad never died. Ever.

I have some LDS friends, but still no answer, and would love enlightenment. ;)

I am a Christian, technically go to a Baptist church but they call themselves Baptipresbycostals. ;) I believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God; however, my faith is not based on that, but rather on the belief that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, died on the cross to take my punishment, and rose again on the third day.

For example: I believe that everything Paul wrote in his New Testament letters is true and God-breathed. However, if it turned out that Paul was a lunatic with a mental illness, I would be surprised but my faith would not be shaken. This is because my faith is not based on Paul, but on Jesus. If, however, it turned out Jesus was a lunatic with a mental illness, then my faith is SHOT.

Let’s say it turns out that Joseph Smith was a lunatic with a mental illness. If so, LDS has nothing; it's shot. Doesn't this mean that LDS faith is based on Joseph Smith, not Jesus Christ?

If the athiest say they do not believe in anything, then what is the point of defending no belief? It appears the the people claiming to have no belief really worry alot about those that do? Does satan use athiest to attack the Christian community?

I remember talking with my grandmother about dinosaurs about 6 years ago, when I was ten. I recall her telling me that, "dinosaurs existed, but they lived alongside people, and they were much smaller than what we think of dinosaurs as being." Why would somebody believe this? This would go against carbon-dating and the fossils that have been uncovered, so why would my grandmother tell me this? She said it came from the Bible.

The Roman Empire consisted of the western part which is the nations of the current European Union, and the eastern part which is the Islamic nations surrounding Israel. Looks like it's all coming together, as predicted.

I am trying to figure out and share what you and I think about the best way to ask and answer questions within the religion and spirituality section. Basically, I am making a list of what I feel all people in this section of answers.yahoo should know.

Please write ideas you feel should be included and problems you have with my ideas. Whoever makes the best point(s) will have the best answer. Feel free to write random nonsense if you want 2 points, because I want to know that someone is actually reading this.

1. Don't suggest that the existance of God can be proven or disproven. Many have tried to do so, but every single one has failed.

2. If you want to prove the accuracy of the Bible, don't do so by quoting the Bible.

3. Microevolution has been proven through experiments. Macroevolution has been theorized based on fossils, genetics, etc., but it is not fully proven.

To be continued!!!

It seems like they are saying "Oh you praise God better than him so you can have a trophy" or whatever they get. It doesn't seem right. It's like they are all hypocrites.

Given the proposition P = "God exists".

The theist asserts P is true.

The atheist asserts not-P is true.

The agnostic says either P or not-P is true.

If you don't believe then why even argue or care what other people think? I've come across this a few times in Y! answers and more times in 24 hour coffee houses people who do not believe in God will ridicule and argue with believers with great passion but I don't understand why, why do they care , why do they even acknowledge someone elses beliefs by arguing over them? It just seems its more about a personal problem within than a problem with people actually believing in God, what do you think?

I've had multiple incidents where a white person would see me, or some other non-white person as they were walking through a parking lot. Then the white person would turn and makes his/her way back toward their car to activate the alarm. I'd like to hear from some white people here. Do you think to yourselves 'Hmm...There's a black (or whatever) guy near my vehicle. Time to use this alarm thing that I'd never think to activate any other time...' ?
