I am hoping the answer is "yes." My landlord has a few fancy plants in our hallway between apartments, and I would like to do this if it helps for avoiding my neighbor.

However, I suppose I could restrain myself from doing this if it isn't considered very polite...

Thank you!

As a whole, I think our generation (Generation X) is the beginning of the end. We have lost respect for those who came before us (our parents, gradparents, etc.) and most importantly, we have lost respect for ourselves. I think we need to take a look at our actions and realize that we are killing ourselves. For example, AIDS. A contagious, yet controllable disease! If we just take the time out and protect ourselves before making a potentially life changing decision like having sex, the number of people infected, per year, could drastically decrease.

And to some of my African American brothers and sisters, I think its time to make a few changes. Do you understand what the civil rights movement meant for us? Essentially (not totally), it evened out the playing field. We are not taking advantage of what was given to us. Our ancestors died trying to give us a better life and we are taking these opportunities to better ourselves for granted.

I wouldn't have believed it either, but I looked down at his greasy coveralls, and sure enough right there on his name tag it said Jesus.

When you say the Old Testament had old ideas and old teachings which is not appropriate in the modern times, thats why you have your New Testament with new beliefs. Just goes to say, from the Old Testament you were forbidden to eat pork, but now you do because your New Testament allows it. Why cant you leave the fact alone of Prophet Mohammad who married someone younger, almost around the same time of your Old Testament? Getting married at a young age was allowed then, but its not now.

Something isn't right here. I don't remember the American people ever associating themselves with an owl. And I don't understand the spider web at all. Whats up with that?

SOME people, like me for instance, actually come to this section to help people and seek help about spiritual things. some of the stupid or vulgar questions some imbeciles post on here make me sick. some of the perverted questions disgust me not only for the content but for the fact that some people actually post that kind of thing IN THIS SECTION. it is sick. and some of the stupid pointless crappy questions i see make me put my head in my hands and make me wish i wasnt human, because we seem to be a race of idiots that i dont want to be a part of. i love the questions that present a valid point or ask a serious question that really makes you think about beliefs or miracles or god. i am so saddened by the number of people who dont respect people like me. please no stupid or sick answers.

Is this a sad reflection on what our world is becoming with the people, especially the youth placing more value on celebrity than that of a teacher, nurse or doctor?

The Nit-Wits are taking over and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it!

I don’t believe in God or religion for many reasons, but consider this ...

Human beings today live for about 80 years on average. In the past humans only lived for about 40 years on average, and in the future, who knows, they may live for 120 years or more.

Religious people who believe in God seem to think that if you don’t believe in God that you will be banished to Hell for eternity. These same religious people believe that God is also fair and just.

If God is fair and just, then why would he allow humans today more time to believe in God than he allowed humans in the past, and why allow humans more time in the future to find and believe in God. That’s hardly fair and just.

We had an open house for our neighborhood association this afternoon and for fun and a conversation sustainer, I mentioned the article and asked 50+ people if they cared about this. The tally? None. Yahoo is accessed by 10's of millions of folks who know of Princeton, but don't give it a second thought. Besides, the rankings are completely subjective. Must have been a slow news day.

A friend on mine told me that people were discriminating against her because she was Hispanic. I knew the people involved and could not believe they would do that. The were educated people. I could not believe they would do that. Then in a meeting I was in one of these people made a very degrogatory comment against women. I went to my friend and apologized. I realized that if he could make that comment that he could make a racial slur also. I did call him on the comment on women as well. He qualified it, but I already knew who he was.

Anyone else shocked about what was inside someones thoughts that you once respected?
